D.D » stressful day

I walked into me and David's house exhausted and upset. I unlocked the door and then took off my shoes and tossed my keys onto the counter. "Baby? You home?" I heard David ask. I didn't say anything and then I saw him come from the corner. "Hey y/n." He said with a smile walking over to me to give me a kiss. "Wait, what's wrong?" He asked once he saw how upset I looked. "Shitty day at work, my boss is a fucking idiot..." I mumbled my lip starting to quiver. I shut my eyes trying to pull myself together and David just hugged me. He stroked my hair and I got a whiff of his cologne which smelt so good.

"Want me to get you anything?" He asked pulling away from our hug. "A new job." I said. David chuckled and then kissed my forehead gently. I smiled and then started crying thinking about what had happened. "My poor baby." David said hugging me again. I cried into his shoulder and he kissed my head. "David.." I mumbled. "Yes y/n?" He said. "My feet hurt.." I whined. He picked me up bridal style and walked to our room and laid me on the bed carefully. He tucked me in and I smiled.

David turned on the TV and went to Netflix and put on my favorite show to watch. "I'll order us some pizza, sound good?" He asked. I nodded and sniffled. "Don't cry princess, you know how much I hate seeing you cry." He whispered to me while wiping away my tears. I calmed down and then David ordered us pizza and laid beside me on our bed. He cuddled with me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. Our pizza soon arrived and we ate while watching Netflix. "Do you feel better?" David asked. "A lot better, thank you baby." I said. "You're welcome y/n, I love you." He said. "I love you too." I said with a smile.
