'you just know, sometimes you feel it

in your bones

though we've heard that hearts could sill be wrong

something's telling me that you're the one'

day three.

i'm packing stuff so i am ready for Thursday, today's Monday, and i have a few days to hang out with Jesse, as soon as i was done packing, i ran down the staircase

i opened our front door which led to the frontyard, "Jesse!" i shout, i whistled, the familiar bark greeted me, and Jesse came running towards me

"come here!" i smile and patted my knees, he jumped onto me, and i giggled as he licked my cheeks, we played a few games

i didn't realize that the afternoon already came, where's mom, dad and Natalie? where's Lunch?

"go back." i commanded, Jesse barked and ran away, i stepped in our house, i searched for every room, i stopped by the kitchen to cook myself some food

i saw a note written on the fridge, 'we went out for a while, just cook some eggs and rice, stay safe, honey

-mom'

i just shrugged and cooked eggs and bacon, eating alone was so lonely and awkward. I had nobody to messenge and tell them to come here and eat lunch with me

because that person's in Doncaster, it'll take long before she could come, i looked at my phone, i sighed, seeing her number still assigned topping all of the favorite contacts

i miss her, when will she return?

i heard the front door close, i furrowed my eyebrows and quickly checked who was there, "Bradley?" i heard, i stepped out of the kitchen

"who's there?" i asked, loudly, i walked towards the front door, "oh hey, man" i greeted as i saw Tristan standing in front of me

"hey." he smiles, "what brings you here?" i ask, "oh, i just wanted to bring you this, have a nice day, Simpson" Tristan handed me a letter and walked out the door

i furrowed my eyebrows, looking down on the envelope in my hands, i looked at the back of it, seeing the familiar handwriting, 'Bradley' was written nicely and neatly

tears escaped my eyes, i already know who's this from, i opened the envelope, slowly, sliding the paper out of it, neatly and nicely

as i carefully read each word, my head started spinning, tears were building up, as the last words hit me like a truck, i fell weak on my knees.

i squeezed my eyes closed as tears continued falling down, i slid back the paper and i ran up the stairs, i hid it in the cabinet and locked it

....

"Bradley?" Natalie called out, as she stepped in the door, "hey." i smile as i took a sip of my cocoa, "why are you still up? you can't stay up this late, your bladder will weaken, Bradley!" Natalie scolded.

"ugh, Natalie, look, nothing's wrong with me, the doctor said it's fine to stay up late if i have something to drink" i answer, "but, Bradley", "Natalie, i can handle myself." i cut in

Natalie sighed, "i just don't want to lose you so soon." Natalie cries, "but im not leaving so soon." i reply, "it's only been the third day of my return, and there are more than half a year for my life." i answer

"don't be negative, five years is longer than you expect" i raised Natalie's chin up, she hugged me and cried on my chest, i accept the fact that im slowly dying each day, what's important is that i had time to be with my family and my loved ones, life isn't any better when it ends sadly

and im glad im going to die, happily, "Brad, please don't go" Natalie tugs on my shirt, "i won't leave yet, Nat." i whisper, i kiss her forehead, "i'll always be here for you, i promise" i say

she just nodded, knowing that she had no other choice but accept the fact that i'm near to my death.

"i love you, Bradley"
