Part 24

-Kai-

I was talking and laughing with my hyung Soobin. His smile was the full definition of perfect, then he pointed out the window

"Kai...your cousin...he's pale, is he okay?"

I turned to see Jungkook standing there, phone to his ear with a pale expression. He took off running, I looked at Soobin and he said

"Lets follow him"

We took off out the store

"KOOK~AH"

I called, grabbing Soobins hand to make him go faster, he kept running. I slammed into a raven headed male and a bright green boy behind him

"O-ow...aish Kai, Soobin watch where you're going...wait why are you running?"

"J-Jimin hyung...Jungkook ran out of the mall and wont stop...I think somethings wrong with his mother..."

Then we heard it. Something that made me tense up, backing into Soobin who caught my elbow

"NO!"

We all took off running to the sound, Jungkooks house in flames, tears sprung to my eyes as I heard Jungkook calling for his mother to wake up. I turned away and grabbed my brunett headed friends arm, hugging him and crying.

"It's okay its okay...I can hear and ambulance"

I cried harder when I saw Jimin pulling Jungkook out of the house and he was screaming and crying, Yoongi grabbed his phone and called someone or a few people, clearly panicking. Jungkook squirmed out of Jimins grip and took off into the house with me and Soobin quick to stop him and hug him while Jimin held him back again

"GET OFF ME I NEED TO SAVE MY MOTHER"

He screamed at us, I hugged him and cried too, I felt his breathing speed up so much more, he looked like he was going to pass out, behind me Soobin was talking

"Kookie please... In and out..Slowly"

He wasnt listening and I felt myself cry more. When the fire department and ambulance got there Jungkook was starting to pass out. We were told to move while they took Jungkook, soon coming out with his parents. I clung to Soobin, his arms warm around me as I cried.

"Kai...lets get you home to rest okay? You both need to sleep, we'll update you on Jungkook in the morning..."

I felt numb as my friend rubbed my back, I knew the boy with green hair was speaking

"Kai, I can stay with you tonight if you need it alright?"

I smiled at Soobin, his eyes lit up when he hugged me again. I fell asleep on the way home.
