Two Hours Earlier..Nobody's POV "Move! Get out now!" A guard screamed as he evacuated the three princesses from their bedroom chambers.
"Why?! What's even happening!?" Arianna screeched, as she doesn't like being woken up so early.
"You must evacuate. There are secret assassins walking around this palace waiting to kill the royal throne. You must stay quiet and move quickly!" The guard ushered them along with five other bodyguards to stand behind the young princesses as they swiftly moved. "Now, we're going to report to your father, who is hiding in the library, let us go in first, then you will follow."
The young damsels waited outside for one minute before being ushered in to see their father in distress. "Father!!" They all screamed in unison.
"My lovely daughters.." He smiled slightly but it was quick to fade. "Those bastards..The kingdom from the South is starting up treason.. However I cannot stall them for long. My daughters..Please allow these trusted knights you may know to guard you.." The King gestured towards the bookcase and nine shadows admitted from the darkness, sporting cocky yet serious smiles.
"Hey princesses!" Seungmin smiled and made a swift and deep bow, coughing as the others quickly bowed as well, clearly they weren't used to bowing much..
"Oh hey guys!" Mana smiled brightly and skipped over to look at everyones armor. "Huh..Wouldn't have taken you guys for the 'Knight in Shining Armor' type..but here we are!" She smiled innocently as if what she had said couldn't have offended them.
"Ahem. Yes we are trained..We just never thought of mentioning it..But I hate to keep this reunion short, but we have to go! So sorry my King but.." Chan announced as Hyunjin and Jeongin proceeded to swiftly pick up Arianna and Nana as Felix kinda just stared at Mana and then grabbed her quickly.
"Hey! At least take me to food first!" Nana teased as Jeongin blushed and swiftly moved his hands strictly to her back as to make sure he wouldn't touch anything else, causing Nana to laugh and cling to him, seeing as she had to support herself now.
"Okay move out!" Chan said busting through the door, sword first as he looked around for any possible unwanted visitors around them, everyone waiting to hear cues as they evacuated to a horse carriage waiting for them at the side of the castle. "Heres the plan. You guys are going to take them to the cabin house in the 'Enchanted Forest'. I will personally volunteer to stay here with the king. I also have unfinished business here. Woojin, you're the leader. And guys? Don't let fear impact this mission." Chan said as he looked at them, waiting for them to depart.
"But Chan! What if you get hurt?! You're the cro-" Jeongin nearly screamed as Minho rolled his eyes and slapped his hand over Jeongin's mouth and gave him a specific warning to 'not say any more information or let any words come out of your mouth' look and Jeongin went silent. With a sigh, Changbin looked at Chan for a moment and swiftly grabbed ahold of the rein and cracked the whip, heading quickly towards the woods.
"Don't worry..Heidi. I'm coming." Chan said as he fled towards the guest bedrooms.
Current Time.. POV; Woojin
"I'm just saying! It's been four hours and we've heard nothing from father, or Chan!" Arianna panicked and bit her nails, pacing back and forth as Nana silently watched as she silently continued to wipe some spilt blood from each of the boy's armor. Along the way, there were assassins that were nearby and while they made it out, some members were caught up on worrying and had gotten hurt. Such as Jisung, and Minho, who had taken the blow for a what was supposed to be a surprise attack on Jeongin. Currently he was resting as Mana tended to both of them alternately.
"Please calm down princess..I'm sure they have a reason. These things could take days..But lets hope it only takes a few hours more..For now, please eat. Your father wouldn't want you starving yourself with worry." I said as I glanced at the clock and peered at the other members who were silently eating.
"But I can't! Its my father! My only father! Why did we have to leave him!?" Arianna screamed as her eyes slowly started watering, Hyunjin and Changbin quickly going to her side to comfort her.
"Princess I'm sorry but-" I started
"Don't princess m-" Arianna started only to be interrupted by Nana.
"Arianna. Please calm down. They were ordered by father. Its not like they had a say when it comes to the King. Nana smiled softly at Woojin and walked over to him, gently dabbing at a scar on his forehead with a frown. "Have you been covering this the entire time with your fringe..?" She frowned and clicked her tongue, cleaning it and grabbing Mana's medical kit and placing a bandage on it. "Hopefully this'll let it stop, I don't specialize in nursing like Mana does, but maybe you should rest, and I'll watch them." Nana offered as I smiled a bit.
"You're too kind princess. However, I must decline. My duty is to protect the princesses, and a mere scratch is not an excuse enough to get off my duty.. besides Chan left me in-"
BANG!!!
"I need help!" A two young women cried, dragging in what seemed to be a limp Chan in one of their arms, coughing blood, his newly dyed platinum blonde hair dripping with red blood on the ends. The young women were crying and one struggled to carry him due to the difference in body weight, so I swiftly snapped out of it and carried him to the couch.
"What happened here?!" I yelled slightly, looking at my brother in worry, Mana rushing over with her medical kit as soon as she heard loud noises.
"Lady Heidi! Mother!!" The moment they saw them Nana and Arianna gasped and quickly got up to help them sit down as Heidi was injured as well.
"H-He came back for me..! I told him I would be fine but he came for me anyway...He got distracted when I only got a small scratch and an assassin slashed his shoulder..He's dead now but.." Heidi started sniffling and trying to keep herself from losing conscience as she looked at all the blood. "The king was surrounded and he..-" Heidi paused seeing Chan hold her wrist tightly.
"Princesses..I'm sorry..I have failed you..The King..he told me to go while I can to save the princesses and the Queen.. The assassins from the South.. Are now responsible for.." Chan coughed large amounts of blood as Mana tilted him back and worked on his wounds quickly. "Responsible for.. regicide.." Chan closed his eyes as Mana explained he would gain consciousness after she patched up his wounds.
"Father is..
