*Remi's POV*

It's been four hours and the doctors still haven't came to see me. Speak of the devil, here comes a nurse. "Mister,  come with me." She had a grave look on her, and I followed her to a consultant room. I sat down and waited for a doctor to come see me.

After what seemed like 30 minutes, one came. "You are Ashai's boyfriend right?" She sits down in front of me. "Yes ma'am, I am. Is he okay?" I asked. "I'm sorry, but Ashai has stage 4 Glioblastoma." She patted my hand. "Cancer? Well what can we do to stop it from getting to the next stage?" I looked at her. "Sweetie, there is no next stage, this I the last stage, and he isn't gonna make it, unless by God there is a miracle." She squeezed my hand. I felt tears going down my face, "Not coming back.... You are saying that he's going to die from this?"

"Yes, he will die from this, we did go ahead and take fluid out of his brain, so he is still thinking normally and talking just fine." She got up and beckoned me. I got up and pulled on Proof's leash and she put herself against my leg. We walked to Ashai's room, he looked like shit. His hair was all shaved, and he had bandages wrapped around his head. I sat down, "B-baby?" I hold his hand. "Im here." He moved his head towards me. His eyes opened and he squeezed my hand.

"So sweetie, you have-" he cut me off " I know I'm dying, Remi. Let's just live the rest of my days as happy as we can." He smiled. "You can't say that, there still is a chance that you survive. You can't give up." I choked on tears. "Remi, I have had this tumor for some time now, I know because I can feel it. I know I will die, there is no stopping it." He gripped my hand.

"Why didn't you say anything, we could have done so much more together." I looked at him. "I'm not some pity party, if I wanted you to know I would've told you and you know that." I seen where he was coming from. Proof jumped up on the bed and kicked his hand.

Two doctors came in and gave me the paperwork to let him go home. I signed them and we went home.
