Chapter One | Her Older Brother

Shane's POV

I was just finishing homework when I looked at the time it was, 9:30 pm.
Shit
I have to be at their house at 10:00 pm. I quickly ran in the shower and styled my auburn hair. When I got done getting ready it was 9:45 pm. Its good that  I had some time left to spare. I left my house around 9:47 pm and went to go get some coffee. I was gonna be there until about 2 am. I was told that Morgan had a older brother maybe...ughh shut up Shane no one will ever love you.
After I got coffee I went to their house.
Once I got there I knocked on the Adams door.
A lady in a nice red dress opened the door and invited me in.
"Hi Shane it's nice to meet you" she said shaking my hand firmly.
"Morgan is in her room right now but we told her that you would be here" she told me
"Ryland, her brother, is going to be home soon so don't be alerted if someone comes in through the door." She explained
"That's all you should need to know so we'll be on our way out" she smiled
"Ok have fun" I smiled
After they left I didn't really know what to do so I just went on my phone and texted my friends until this little girl with blonde wavy hair with blue ocean eyes came out to the living room.
"Hi, you're Shane right?" Her small voice asked
"Yes and I'm assuming you're Morgan?" I said
"Yes" she answered
"Morgan who is this?" A voice behind me asked
"This is Shane" she answered the voice, I turned around to see who this person was. He looked around my age 16 maybe 15. He had ocean blue eyes like his sister's eyes. His figure was rather small and he was short maybe around 5 ft 7. He has golden brown hair you could say, that was covered by a hat he wore.
" you must be Ryland" I announced
"Yeah, sorry I'm being rude. I was just at my friends house with his boyfriend and I was third wheeling, which might I add was not fun" he explained
"You're not being rude at all" I assured him
"Ok good, I don't want to come off as an asshole" he chuckled
"You can be an asshole sometimes" Morgan said
"Morgan! You can not say that" Ryland shouted
"Uh whatever" she said walking over to the couch and putting on her headphones
" she can be a brat sometimes" Ryland laughed
Ryland and I exchange looks, we caught each other looking at each other at one point. Note to self don't let anyone catch you staring.
"Well I'm gonna go to my room" he said
"Ok, it was nice to meet you" I smiled
"You too, Shane" he smiled back
He went into his room.
Ryland is pretty cute, what the fuck are you talking about Shane. No one will ever love you you're just a ugly ass person.
I kept texting my friend funny memes and random shit like that.
It was now 12 am, I didn't really know what to do at this point because I've been here for 2 hours on my phone. Morgan was just on YouTube, she didn't talk much.

I looked up from my phone because I heard a door squeak open.
"Hey, Shane" I heard a familiar voice
"Uh, Ryland! Hi" I said
"I just want you to have this umm" he mumbled as he was rummaging through his pockets of his jacket.
"Here" He said handing me a pic of paper.
"Uh thanks" I answered
"You're welcome" I replied

He went back to his room and I opened the note.

Ugh fuck he caught me starring.
Their parents were gonna be back any minute now.
I saw a tired couple walk through the door.
"Thank you so much Shane for watching Morgan for us" she said with excited in her voice
"Of course" I exclaimed

"Here you go" she said handing me money.

I left their house a couple minutes later. I was so tired after that cus I didn't want to be found sleeping on their couch.

I couldn't sleep so I decided to text Ryland.

[Shane] hi, are you up?

[Ryland] yeah I'm up, what's up

Chapter One if the babysitter. I want to say that I know nothing about babysitting I just thought this would be a fun book to write.
