I can see the moon shining above us. It means we have been running for almost two hours. These two hours seemed like years to me. In these two hours I feared for my life like I never feared anything.

You know been a gangster makes you act like you don't fear anything and of course, the others believe my act.
And now. I run through the dark forest and every little crack of branches or every ravens sound makes me see all my life before my eyes.

My body is covered in mud, blood and sweat. My natural blond hair is now a mixture of brown and red.

I can't hear a thing. It's only the same dark forest how it was just moments before. But we have to keep running. Our lives depend on our actions.

Suddenly, Matt, my gang's buddy falls to the ground. I kneeled near him to see how seriously hurt he was. The wound was not to deep but the person that made it, made it look painful.

I took some water from my bag and started cleaning the blood. In between, I hear his helpless cries. I hear him saying to let him die and save my ass. He was shoot and I perfectly understand how it feels like.

It's like someone punches you hard. Directly into your soul. After the scars on your skin may be gone but the scars on your soul are forever. They are like marks or tattoos.

Flashback
The gun shoots were everywhere.

Screams and chaos erupted all around me as the man I had previously talked collapsed onto the ground, a bullet hole placed right between his eyes. I let a sadistic smirk and moved to the others.

I saw my friend Matt from the corner of my eye and hurried to help him with two guys that were dragging him into the corner.

A large one saw me coming his way and tried to punch my face. I catch his fist and threw one punch his way. He fell on the ground and screamed in pain as I hit him in the stomach with my feet. He mumbled something under his breath.

"What did you say? Say it louder." I said as I hit his stomach one more time.

"Go to hell!" he hissed between his teeth.

"Been there. Devil didn't like me and spat me back." this time I knocked him out cold.

"Cocky much?" I turned to face Matt and saw the guy that was punching him on the floor. Dead.

"Well, you know that cocky is my middle name."

Suddenly the doors burst open and a gun shoot echoed in the room. I watched Matt's expression turn from happy to hurt and I saw a dark red circle building on his shirt. It grew bigger and bigger.

I turned to the door and saw the most devilish beautiful woman alive.

She had red hair hanging on her shoulders and the most memorizing green eyes. They were like poison.

When our blicks crossed she turned on her hills and walked away.

I didn't waste a minute and ran to my friend to treat the wound. After it, we stormed out of the basement and ran to our safe house.

End of the Flashback
As I finished treating the wound he stands up and takes a deep breath.

But uninspected someone attacks him with supernatural power and he disappears in the woods. I fall on my butt. Matt is nowhere to be seen.

When I search around for him I met a pair of familiar green poison eyes. Now I can see how deep they are. Some say that eyes are windows to your soul. In hers, I see lifeless utter darkness. The pure evil stares back at me.

In the next moment, she attacks me and I feel how the darkness infects my heart and my soul turns  just as lifeless as her eyes are.

The last words that I can hear are...

"Welcome home demon. You are free from them now. "
