Chapter Twenty: Jerry

(Bethany's POV)

Every time we started filming the people would stop us saying things like "stop staring at each other" or "you guys can make out later". What did they mean by that? I realized at that moment my gaze was locked with Ian's. I bet I had the goofiest grin on my face and he had one too.

Oh gosh, this is embarrassing. I laughed nervously and tried to concentrate on getting this right.

'You know you can't resist.'

What? Who goes there?

I felt kinda stupid talking in my head.

'Well it's your conscience, obviously.'

My conscience? I didn't know I had one of those.

'Wow, seriously? Well actually, that would explain a lot..'

So what are you trying to guide me through to make the right choice? Is there something I should be worried about? Other than the fact that I'm pretty much talking to myself...

'You can't resist.'

Can't resist what exactly? Are you people not very specific because then I won't be able to put up with you for very long.

'You won't be able to resist the urge to look at Ian. You'll get too mesmerized by him. Soon he will be all you think about.'

Well he pretty much is all I think about anyways. I mean he's Ian Hecox, for God's sake. How can I NOT think about him?

'Be careful...'

That was the last I heard from my conscience before someone was hollering at me for not doing what I was supposed to. I told them I was ready now and they proceeded to start. Again.

"Take: 30. Roll: 12. Lights. Camera. Action," One person said and we began to do our thing.

"Ha! I win! You're all losers!" Kammy exclaimed as she did her victory dance, making sure she got her butt in our faces, shaking it like there was no tomorrow.

I made sure to keep an angry face on and crossed my arms.

"You cheated!" I said.

"Did not!" Kammy responded.

"Did too!"

"Not!"

"Did!"

"No!"

"YES!"

"SHUT UP!" Ian and Anthony screamed together.

"You two are being like five year olds right now. We need to settle this maturely!" Ian said and he put a hand on each of our shoulders.

"That's right. It's time for a duel!" Anthony said smirking.

I turned back to Kammy and nodded. "Fine! Let's do this!"

"CUT! That's a wrap for now!" One person said. I seriously need to meet these people. Everyone was busy working on cleaning all the cameras and lights up that they didn't notice when I left the room.

'Hello again'

What?! You again? Well if you are going to keep popping up here I might as well name you. Hmm... Oh I know! You're new name is Jerry!
