"I mean, your Royal Highness." I finished with a wink. He just rolled his eyes, a slight growl enough to send a few shivers down my spine. I still hadn't forgotten about our fight.
"Anyway, it really has been great talking to you, but I do have my dragon to rescue, and my life to get back to, so ciao adios goodbye." I waved to them and then ran, my legs pounding through the undergrowth. I blasted wolves away with water, air and anything else I could use.
I only just heard the Alpha's angry roar before I managed to get away, but it was enough to imprint itself in my memories forever.
And now I was free. As free as a bird without wings, because I had no dragon.
But I knew that somehow I could get her, and from there it was only a matter of trying to escape them, which wasn't too hard.
