At the North Pole, Jack Frost saw North, Tooth, Bunny, and Sandy all gathered around waiting for his return. "Ahhh! There he is!" cried North in his booming Russian voice,"What's the news Jack?"

"Well for starters, I couldn't figure out the stupid directions, but I eventually found my way and I think I found her," Jack replied.

"IT'S A GIRL?!" Tooth screeched, "WOO HOO FINALLY!!"

Tooth flew high around the room, very excited. Years of waiting for this day were all over. Tooth had felt lonley and thought that no one fully understood her here. With this new young guardian, she could share EVERYTHING! Yes, she was happy and satisfied.

"Well Ice Man?" said Bunnymund with a smirk, "Did you find out anything else?"

Jack thought for a moment then said, "She has the brightest green eyes that look like emeralds and...and her hair shines like the sun and falls to the floor. Oh! And she lives in an orphanage."

Everyone stared at him a minute.

"Is that all mate!?", asked Bunny, "You only got her eye and hair color? What's her personality? Do you think she'll be a good guardian?"

"Hey I'm sorry! It wasn't my idea to travel in the middle of the night! She got up to close the window and went back to sleep" Jack answered coldly.

"You probably made her cold. That IS the only thing you do," Bunny said sarcastically.

"Hey I wouldn't be talking like that King Kangaroo" Jack shot back. North cut in, "Alright, everybody calm down! We don't need any arguing! What we DO need is more information."

"Ugh fine! I'll go again," Jack answered, but flew out with a smile.

Rapunzel was in the middle of reading the kids a bedtime story before they went to sleep. Tonight's story was about the magical sprite who brought winter named Jack Frost. The children were enchanted with the story. Rapunzel was getting into it as well. After the story, the Headmistress made sure everyone got to bed. Rapunzel got ready and headed for her lumpy mattress and uncomfortable pillow, mumbling to herself, "I wish there was such a thing as Jack Frost. I'd like to think that he would take me away from all of this." The Headmistress turned out the light. Suddenly, Linda ran to Rapunzel and shook her violently. Rapunzel shot up saying, "HEY! HEY! WHAT'S WRONG!"

Linda looked half terrified, half excited, "There was a boy in the window!"

"What?!"

"I saw a boy with white hair outside!"

Rapunzel knew that Linda had a big imagination and knew that she wouldn't go to sleep until she was reassured. She got up from her bed silently and looked out the window and turned back after seeing nothing.

"There is nobody out there. Don't worry."

Then Linda looked at her with wide eyes. Rapunzel looked scared and said, "What? What is it?"

"There he is again! He looks kinda like the boy from the story!"

"Jack Frost?! Oh Linda. I don't think it's him."

"Maybe you don't see him because every time YOU look, he disappears."

"Linda are you feeling okay? I just want to make sure!" Rapunzel said feeling a little scared.

"FROST!"

"What?"

"FROST!"

Rapunzel looked at the window and it was covered in frost. "What the!" exclaimed Rapunzel. Linda looked thoughtfully at Rapunzel and said, "Punzie? Do you believe in Jack Frost?"

"Um...well." Rapunzel replied, not really knowing how to respond.

"Maybe if you tried believing, you would see him."

Rapunzel knew that Linda would nag her until she did it, "Okay Linda, I will," and Rapunzel said to herself,

I believe in Jack Frost

Rapunzel turned around toward the window to see herself staring into the brightest, most icy, blue eyes ever.

"Oh My Gosh!" Rapunzel said, backing up, not to loud in fear of waking the others.
