He had stormed all the way back to the house, silently berating himself for snapping at you. You didn't deserve how you had just been treated. Not in the least. But he was too caught up in his anger to turn back and apologize now.

He whipped the front door open and slammed it shut once he stepped inside. He didn't care if he--

"And just where have you been?" Freddy was frowning deeply at the younger male. "I heard you leave. Clearly for no decent reason, seeing as how you're so agitated." His arms were crossed, a sleepy sort of glare in his blue eyes.

Teddy just scoffed. "It doesn't matter."

"It does. Where have you--"

"I told you it doesn't fucking matter! Why do you have to give me this, this... constant disapproval?! It's bullshit!"

The older male sighed and rubbed his face with one oversized hand. They were like bear paws, almost. "Teddy, I was worried about you. It's hardly six am, and you run out of the house like something caught on fire."

He muttered angrily under his breath, giving Freddy the side eye. "I'm not telling you. I shouldn't have to explain myself to you."

"Yes, you do. Now answer me."

"Quit treating me like a fucking kid!"

"Then stop acting like one!" Freddy's voice boomed throughout the house. Now his patience was wearing thin. "Do not test me, Toy Freddy. You will not like the end result. I am worried about you, and it is not just I. We all are. I understand that you are frustrated with this entire situation. Don't you think we are, as well? What gives you the right to act so spoiled?"

"I'm not acting spoiled," the young male muttered, his expression sour. "I..." He sighed and turned away, sitting down in the living room and staring at the floor, head hung. "Freddy, why do we keep on trying? What if we never find what it is we're looking for? What if we're too late?"

Freddy sat down beside him, one hand on his shoulder. "It never hurts to keep trying. You know this. You're merely frustrated because we're lost. We're lost without the restaurant and quite frankly, a little frightened. We aren't used to the modern world, ours has always been small and childish."

He was right, of course, but Teddy wasn't about to admit it.

To your slight surprise, Teddy did not emerge from his house as you began your walk towards the school. You debated on going over to ask what was going on, but the small, angry side of you decided against it.

If he's so pissed off, why should I care?

You walked in a sullen silence, thinking over what had happened in your dream, as well as what had happened after. The air smelled like it did after the rainfall, and you wondered if it was as stormy as it had been in your nightmare. It was a possibility, after all.

Teddy never showed up to school at all; he was nowhere to be found, and didn't arrive in your class late. Now you were getting a tiny bit worried. Despite your exhaustion you made up your mind to visit the male, just to make sure everything was all right.

You did not hurry to his house, walking as slowly as you pleased. A part of you was nervous about seeing Freddy again, especially after your nightmare, but could you be blamed?

Those goddamned teeth...

Knocking at the front door brought you face to face with a boy you didn't recognize. He had blue hair and brilliant green eyes, a little on the shorter side of things but made up for it with his apparent energy and huge grin. "Hi, sugar! Can I help you?"

You stammered, unsure of how to react at being called "sugar". It made you feel strange. "A-ah... is... Teddy home...?"

"You're the girl that lives across the street, aren't ya?" He smiled even wider, if it were possible. "Teddy told me aaaaallllllll about you. He didn't mention how cute you were though."

"Bonbon, you're scaring her," came Teddy's melodic voice from deeper into the house. He appeared behind the other shorter male, whose name was evidently Bonbon. Grinning a little he pulled the bluenet out of the doorway. "I'm sorry, honey, he gets a little too eager sometimes."

What is it with boys and their nicknames?

Teddy sighed after a few moments of silence, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. "I owe you an apology. I shouldn't have snapped at you like I did this morning. Will you forgive me? Please?" His blue eyes looked so hopeful that you sighed and nodded, making him grin. "Awesome. Come on in, you can formally meet a few of my friends," he added, stepping aside to let you walk through the open doorway.

The first thing you noticed was papers. Papers everywhere, scattered all over every surface, the floor, even some in Bonbon's mouth as he shuffled through them. He waved at you as you walked in and went back to the papers. Upon closer inspection, they turned out to be sheets of music.

"I'm sorry about the mess, they tend to bring it with them wherever they go..." Teddy trailed off, making a gesture towards both Bonbon and someone else, with violet hair and gentle-looking eyes.

The stranger smiled and set down the guitar in his hands before clasping yours kindly. "Hi, doll, I'm Bonnie. Nice to meet you."

He smiled gently, and seemed quite the opposite of Bonbon who was currently throwing the papers everywhere in his frustration. "Augh, I can't find it!" he exclaimed.

"You're probably sitting on it," Teddy replied with a grin before turning to you. "He's a little scatterbrained."

"I can still hear you!" The bluenet stood up and, sure enough, he had been sitting on the sheets he was looking for. He simply turned pink and didn't bother with a "thank you" before picking up his own guitar.

Teddy gently pulled you out of the living room and into the kitchen as the other pair began to play as quietly as they could manage. Or at least Bonnie tried; Bonbon didn't seem to care. "I really am sorry," the brunet murmured down to you, eyeing you with a hopeful, sweet expression. "I didn't mean to snap at you. I don't know what came over me."

You just waved a hand. "Its whatever, Teddy. I already said I'd forgive you."

He leaned down and kissed your cheek. The sensation sent a chill down to your knees, which threatened to give way. "Wh-what was that for?" you managed, flushing a bright pink.

"Just because."
