Mila had been excited for Weezer's new album that had just come out, it was a teal colour which happened to be Mila's favourite colour. As she walked around town, on her way to the music store, she was bumped into by a stranger. "Hey! Watch it!" The stranger grunted rudely. Mila shook her head, sighing and walking past the girl who just complained about her when Mila hadn't done anything wrong. After all, the girl ran into her and not the other way around. Perhaps, the girl was just in a hurry, Mila decided to shrug it off instead of dwelling on it.

In fact, Clara; the stranger who'd run into Mila, was in a hurry. She was trying to find the music store to grab the new Weezer album after she heard that there was only one album left and that the albums were selling out quickly.  She had to hurry if she was going to get one, she had been waiting for the album since it was announced about a month ago.

Mila happily walked into the music store and found the CD albums by the back of the small store where the CD's had always been kept. "Only one album left? Awesome! I got here just in time!" Mila grinned to herself as she grabbed the album, though an extra hand grabbed it too.

Mila widened her eyes when she looked up to see that it was was the girl who'd bumped into her a little bit ago, trying to grab the album from her hands. Clara didn't seem too happy as she tried to pull the album away from Mila but Mila held on tightly. "It's mine, I was here first." Mila informed as she pulled the teal album closer to herself. Clara snorted, "I've been waiting for this album all month AND I practically ran a marathon just to get here." She responded coldly and over exaggerated as she pulled it away from Mila. Clara didn't have time to argue with her.

Clara smirked when she gets ahold of the album, she holds it above her head so Mila cannot reach the prized possession with a cocky grin as she looked down at Mila. "Sorry, shorty but you have no idea how badly I want this album." She declared as she practically ran to the counter to pay for the album. Mila sighs, it wasn't worth fighting over a CD. She'll just listen to the new album on YouTube for now, besides, the songs on the radio are okay. She could wait until another batch of CDs of Weezer's new album came out.

"Have a good day." The cashier smiled as he placed the paid album in a paper bag and turned around to answer the ringing phone, Clara smiled and thanked the cashier. As she was about to grab the bag, her friend comes running in and grabs Clara's arm. "Clara, come quick! Sal's having a seizure again! I-I mean she did have one but she stopped. Please, come quick!" Clara's friend, Quinn exclaimed worriedly. Quinn pulled Clara out of the store, all in a rush which Clara was so wrapped up in making sure Sal was alright that she left the store without grabbing the album.

Mila had been on her way out of the store when she saw the whole ordeal. She frowned when she noticed that Clara had forgotten the album. She picked up the paper bag and left with it, Mila knew better than to steal and she felt it would be wrong if she did so she followed Clara and her friend closely behind.

Clara sighed in relief, seeing that Sal was alright and was able to get her home in a cab with Quinn. She went to grab her bag with the album inside only to realize that she'd forgotten it at the store. "Oh no! I forgot my new album!" She groaned as she was about to turn around and head to the store to see if she could find it.

Mila reached to pat Clara on the shoulder, catching Clara's attention as the Clara looked down at the smaller girl. Mila held the paper bag up for Clara to see as her cheeks heated up at the surprised look on Clara's face. "I heard what happened and saw you leave without the album. You got it fair and square so I wanted to bring it to you." Mila explained. Clara took the bag gratefully and looked inside, seeing the teal Weezer album. "Thank you so much but I didn't get it fair and square, I took it from you and I was very selfish. I'm sorry, maybe we can both listen to the album until more albums are available at the music store?" Clara proposed, trying to make things right.

Mila smiled at the offer and nodded. "It's no problem, really. I get how excited you were for the album. We could go back to my place to listen to the album?" She suggested sweetly to which Clara nodded at. "I'm Clara, by the way." Clara introduced herself, Mila smiled. "I'm Mila." She responded as they shook hands and began walking to Mila's house that happened to be nearby.

As the entered the home, Clara glanced around the house. "Is everything teal?" She asks with a small chuckle, seeing as the walls were teal and many objects were too. "Pretty much. Teal's my favourite colour." Mila smiles as she closes the door. "Can I get you anything to eat or drink?" She offers as Clara sits on the couch next to the radio to put the new album in. Clara hummed, "I'm good, thanks." She replies as she got the music turned on. Mila grinned and began to dance to the Weezer album, Clara laughed and joined her, showing off her own terrible dance moves.

A few hours later, it was dark out and the girls had listened to every song on the album twice or maybe even three times as they were having too much fun to count. "I had so much fun with you, Mila." Clara complimented as she stood at the door, ready to leave. Mila smiles as she went to hug Clara. "I had so much fun with you too, Clara." She smiled up at her. They shared a moment of hugging before Clara bent down to kiss Mila's lips to which Mila kissed her back. "Well, I gotta get going but you have my number and I have yours so we should text sometime. We should also hang out again soon." Clara said, smiling as she went to open the door. Mila nodded and smiled, "I'll text you tomorrow, I should get some sleep." She smiles, waving as Clara walked out outside. "You should. Alright, text you tomorrow then." She waved back as Mila said another goodbye and shut the door.

Strange how love comes in the least expected way.

                    Love is peculiar, isn't it?
