Bellhop- So they broke up and decided to fight for their son's custody in Massachusetts Court House, so after her lawyer did all the papers, and a few weeks later, they met the Judge
Hoffman- I see; the Probate court investigates the issue and decides.
Bellhop- His ex wanted full custody of the child, and she probably would move to another state
Hoffman- Shit! It's not fair; she should stay in the same city where his father is
Bellhop - So she appeared at the courthouse with an attorney, some witnesses, and an interpreter cause she couldn't speak English.
Hoffman-What about Dino? Did he Pray for God to help him before going to the hearing?
Bellhop: Shut up! But his anger sprang to life; it woke his hate for God, and he doesn't believe in God anymore; he's sure he doesn't deserve that.
Hoffman-He built his life in an imaginary world based on his beliefs that God would always protect him and his family. He's an idiot, Asshole!
Bellhop - He went to the hearings alone, with no attorney, no witness, no interpreter, and as he said "No God "
Hoffman- I understand (laughs). God should have protected his family from that guy who fucked his wife but he didn't.
Bellhop- He didn't like that fight; his son wasn't a piece of furniture to be won but had to go, and he was apprehensive about the witnesses; they could lie
Hoffman- Who was the Judge?
Bellhop- Suzan Ricci, a beautiful woman with short blond hair
Hoffman- I know her. Was it crowded?
Bellhop- Yeah, It was!
Bellhop-The Judge started talking to her interpreter, translating whatever she said.
Hoffman- You mean lying.
Bellhop- The Judge also listened to Dino. Finally, she listened to the witnesses.
Hoffman- I bet they might have told lies as well.
Bellhop- Yeah, at this hearing, the Judge said that the probate court investigator spent some weeks conducting interviews with the people involved; they interviewed the couple, the child, the neighbors, school administrators, and co-workers from both sides.
Hoffman- I'm sure someone told them about the pregnancy and her lover.
Bellhop-She also said she had enough information about the marriage issue, which means their lies wouldn't make any change.
Hoffman- The decision depends on the hearings, the result of the investigation, and the closeness of the relationship between each parent and the child.
Bellhop- Times are changing; they're not choosing the mom or dad; they're choosing the best situation for that child.
Hoffman- Yeah!
Bellhop- I noticed that while some witnesses were speaking, his ex was biting her nails, but we could see she had a sly grin on her face, and I also noticed that the Judge was staring at her for an extended period.
Hoffman- Holy shit, man! You've just said the probate court made an investigation into their lives; Judge Susan knew everything about her.
Bellhop- Yeah, you're right; everyone in that hearing knew about the pregnancy.
Hoffman- Damn!
Bellhop- So, the Judge banged her gavel and said: " Sole custody, the child must be with the father" Now.!
Hoffman- So, he returned to his home country with his son. Did he go?
Bellhop- No, he didn't find his son in his ex-wife's home, and he didn't see him anywhere; he spent two more weeks looking for his son, and he had to go back to his home country alone.
