(awsome_zman's POV)

"Zman! Look out!" The shout echoed throughout the cave. I turned in time to see a skeleton release the string of his bow and launching an arrow. I ducked and smashed the skeleton apart with my iron sword.

The bones clattered onto the floor of the cave. Sky, Ty, Jason and I resheathed our swords and took out torches and our picks. We started searching for good ores. After a while, we found two paths.

"Which way do we go, guys?" I asked. "Left!" Sky replied. "Right!" Jason answered. "What do you think, Ty?" I asked, but I didn't hear a thing. "Ty?"

"Where'd he go?" Jason asked. "I don't know!" I replied. "Jason I'm start-" Sky began, but suddenly fell silent. "Sky? Where are you?" Jason asked.

We stood back to back, swords gleaming in the torchlight. Suddenly, Jason gasped. "What?" I asked. "Zman get out of-" Jason started to say, but he was cut off.

I turned around to find he had disappeared. Suddenly, the torches went out. In the darkness, I could see two glowing white eyes. My eyes grew wide with fear.

I ran farther into the pitch black cave, my heart practically beating out of my chest. I didn't care the increasing number of monsters behind me. All I cared about was getting out of here alive. Suddenly, I got to a small lake of lava.

Hearing the monsters getting closer, I frantically searched my pockets for the water bucket I have for when I go mining(always a good idea). "Looking for this?" I spun around to see Herobrine holding my bucket. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw two zombie pigmen rise out of the lava. I rolled out of the way just in time to dodge a golden sword.

I kicked one back into the lava. Then I raised my sword in time to block a blow from the other zombie pigman. I disarmed it and stabbed it in the chest as the other climbed out of the lava. It attacked me and knocked me across the floor of the cave.

I rolled through its legs and grabbed the golden sword of the fallen pigman. I swung both swords at it with all my might, but it wasn't enough. I did a front flip over it and sliced it in half. Just then, there was a pit in my stomach as I realized it was a diversion. I turned to see Herobrine coming right at me and everything went black.
