Chapter 4

Divine's Point of View

Being late is never good for me. I am mad at Joaquin right now. He didn't wake me up for heaven's sake this morning so I got up late. Fortunately, Uncle Xavier brought me a driver and I am not already familiarised in this place. It's a big convenient for me but I'm still late plus it took me a long time to find my designated room.

The moment I stepped in my room makes my heart pound. The class adviser scolded me for being late and I just stared at him but still I am focusing about my heart beat. I was awaken when he snapped his fingers in front of my face. All I could say is sorry then he pointed to where should I sit.

Our adviser are still discussing about rules and regulation in our school and room separately.

That was written in the board. Maybe it's his name? Sounds old and odd. He's a six footer and slender. He has brown curly hair and fair skin and a pair of blue eyes. I look at my surroundings. Almost of my girl classmates are fantasising him. They have twinkling sparkling eyes while they are listening to him.

"We're the luckiest student ever!" My seat mate shouted after we halted out of our room. I don't know her name either.

"By the way, ako nga pala si Via Laurice Salazar. How 'bout you Ms. Transferee?" She asked as she initiate a handshake gesture to me.

" Divine Grace Medina," I said while smiling and took her handshake. My friendly side is already turning on.

"Your name describes your wholeness! By the way, how are you related to Joaquin, then?" She asked with amusement.

"Well, thank you. Joaquin and I are cousins," the moment I said those things made her shocked then she screamed! She's way more loud than me, I swear!

"I can't believe this! Seatmate ko pala yung transferee na pinsan ng bebe ko, kyaaa!" She shouted.

"You knew each other? And how come that he became to be your bebe?" I'm still mad at him, anyway! Hmph!

"Did you know that he's popular in this city not only because of your family's wealth but also he is very talented, like he's smart, a dancer, an athlete and others," she said those in dreaming tone.

"O-kay?—"

"Grace! Sabay ka na sa 'min," a girl shouted and it was Mikisla and the company, including Joaquin. My forehead furrowed as I look at him.
They walk toward us and I saw how Via girl blush while looking at Joaquin. She's cute.

"You may also invite your new friend too," Roise initiated.

"Do you want to come with us?" I asked her

"Sure!" Via said gracefully and I automatically giggle in her actions.

While we are making way to school cafeteria, someone poked me and it was Via.

"What is it?" I said politely.

"Pwede bang pag-aralan mong magtagalog? Kanina pa dinudugo yung ilong ko. Inaamin kong magaling ako sa Math pero bobo ako sa English. Hehe," she said while she did a peace sign in the last part.

"Sige, susubukan ko," I said fluently.

"Marunong ka naman pala magtagalog, pinahirapan mo pa ko," she said while pouting. I pinched her cheeks because she's so cute and I can't resist it.

Suddenly, the joy in my system gone because I felt like someone is watching me. I looked around and I saw our adviser, looking on us.
