Joaquin's Point of View

"Wake up, Sleeping Beauty!" panggigising ko sa kanya pagkatapos kong hawiin ang kurtina sa bintana. Only sunlight can make her awake, kaya ganito lagi ang routine niya tuwing umaga.

"Good Morning," she said with a sweet voice then she smile at me. Lahat ng nakakakilala sa kanya ay magaan ang loob sa kanya although may iilan na naiinggit but they can't resist her charm. They said she has the brightest smile you could see in your entire life. Also they think she have the joyful life but the truth is not, pilit namin itong tinatago sa kanya. Iyon ang dahilan kaya namatay ang mga pinakamamahal na babae namin ni papa, si mama kasali na rin si tita na kapatid ni papa. Di ko na alam kung ano ang mangyayari sa amin kapag pati si Grace mawala siya.

"Stand up, handa na yung almusal sa dining area. Pupunta pa tayo sa mall," I reminded her.

"Ten minutes," she said in a sleepy tone then she let me face her back. Naman oh! Palibhasa sanay sa shifting ang klase at laging hapon yun aba! Kinalampag ko yung higaan niya at tinanggal ang kumot.

"Tayo,"  I said in a series tone.
"Such a grumpy man," she giggled then stood up. Napakapilya talaga nito. Tsk.

Umalis na ko sa kwarto niya para makapagayos na siya at dumiretso na ko sa dining area.

Divine's Point of View

We are currently eating in a restaurant here in a mall. It's already lunch time. While I am savoring my food, Joaquin asked me a question that makes me stop.

"Why did you chose HUMMS? What do you want to be?"

"Bikosh I wanchu be a pulishwumwan," I said while I chew my food. Gross! Haha!

"Don't talk while your mouth is full, Grace. You are going to be a lady someday, so act like one," he said with a serious tone. What is happening to him? Usually, he'll mess my hair and laugh when I joked around. But now, it's different. He became more serious since last night.

''You want to be a policewoman? Why?''

"Because there are too many bad people out there. Choosing and waiting for their victim continously," I said after I sip my iced tea.

"If you really want to be a policewoman then, your training will start on Saturday," he said that makes my forehead creased.

"Training?"

"Yes, you'll learn how to use different weapons; short range and long range, also, combat fighting. I cannot recite it all  because it is too many. You will learn that from me. In short, I will be your instructor," he said

"And why?" I questioned him. At his age, does he know all of that?

"So you can defend yourself. If what happened last night occur again, you can punched him to the fullest," he answered. To the fullest talaga ha? But remembering what happened last night frightens me.

"About last night, have you already report it to the security? Do they already know his identity? His motives? How could he surpass the security? There is a possibility that he will come back for me and do something unwanted to me," I said hysterically.

"Don't worry , I'll never let them touch you, okay? Kaya ubusin mo na yan then uuwi na tayo," I was relieved when he said those words, it never fails me to trust them.

"Bro! Oh my gosh, I miss you so much!" The man with a musculine body and brown hair said after he appeared right away. He's making fake sobs while he's hugging my cousin, whose still sitting and disgust is all written in his face.

"Bakla ka talaga," the girl said after she knock the guy's forehead. Her skin is fair and she has a white, long hair and sideways bangs.

"Gusto mo atang matikman ang bagsik ng tunay na lalaki," the musculine guy said then smirked after he let go of my cousin and faced the girl.

"Try me," the girl replied.

"Stop that! Okay? I want to introduce to you guys my cousin, Divine Grace.
Grace, these are my friends; Mikisla, Roise, Primo and Charis," so these are his friends? Mikisla is the fair skin girl with sidebangs while the musculine guy is Primo. Charis is a morena girl and her hair, I like it, the Pixie cut. And then Roise, he has a slender body and neutral skintone, OmO! I love his get up, the oversized shirt is tucked in his tokong and he wears Chuck Taylor! I love those guys who wears like that!

"Hello! It's nice to meet you guys," I greet them sweetly.

"Aawwww, she's so adorable! How did you get this kind of cousin, Anthonio? She's a cute little kitten while you're a lion," wait, what? Did Mikisla called Joaquin in his second name? Pfffft, HAHAHAHAHA. I remember when we're ten, he ate all of my ice cream when I called him 'Anthonio' and I cried a lot. He said that if I continue calling him that, he will eat all of my ice cream so I call him Joaquin since then.

"We have some errands to do. So aalis na kami." Roise guy said. So it's a goodbye, then?

"Don't worry, we're in the same school. We'll meet tomorrow so see ya'!" Charis said then we made beso to each other, same as Mikisla. The guys shakehands with me and they bid their farewell.

So it's gonna be a great year then?
