"alright, it says here that donney's is an underground club. it's pretty early so they're should be lots of people there. you'll be able to blend easily." april says typing on her laptop.
i nod as i finish getting dressed.
"how do i look?" i say, turning to her.

she looks up from her laptop.
"you look like a highlighter! it's perfect." she smiles and claps. i roll my eyes and walk over to her.
"alright genius. what cool gadgets do you have for me?"
"well first, here's this earpiece. it shows me where you are in the club and it lets me and you communicate. there's also this watch. obviously, with your powers, you probably won't need it. but, we don't really know what you can and can't do. this shoots small darts that will temporarily knock out your enemies."
"whoa this shit is hella cool. where'd you get it?" i ask while she she puts the watch on.
"you ask alot of questions." she finishes and goes back to her computer. "alright now it's time to check the earpiece."
"okay." i say as i put it in. i feel it turn on and watch as she puts on a headset.
"okay, repeat after me."

i roll my eyes and shake my head. "i'm not-"
"pussy!"
"it works okay! i can fucking hear you."
she sighs. "you never let me have any fun."
"yeah yeah whatever. send me the coordinates for the club on my phone so i know where i'm going." i say heading out the door.
she nods and i head to the door.
"hey kam."
"yeah?"

when i arrive at the club i quickly notice that there's alot of people in line.
"april i'm never gonna get in. the line's down the block."
"cute of you to assume i'm not 6 steps ahead in every situation. go up to the bouncer and give him the secret code pickle."
i do as she says and he lets me in immediately. when i enter the club it reminds me of the one i went to a couple nights ago.
when i met billie.
"earth to kamryn! there's a secret door leading to a basement at the end of the hall. when you get down there, you'll be met with 5 guards. kick their fucking asses and find your girl!" she says excitedly over the earpiece.
