i blink, hoping that it'll make the green fade, and finally help her up.
"why don't you head out to the car and i'll meet you there. i just need to go get something."
she nods and heads out. i look around for q.
i find him in the kitchen area pouring a drink. there aren't many people here so i see it as the perfect opportunity to trap him. and test how far my powers go.
"hey." i smile and look up at him. he takes a sip of his drink and looks down at me. "do i know you?" he gives me a confused look.
"no. i'm addison." i lie. he laughs a little and leans against the table with his hands.
"do i look like i care?"
"no," i laugh and put my hand on his. "but you should."
i focus really hard and watch as he begins to shake. it's like he's being electrocuted.
"leave billie alone or you lose your testicles." i focus harder. he nods rapidly and i notice blood dripping from his eyes and nose. i smile and let go, watching as he falls.
i exit the party happily and join billie in the car.
"you get what you were looking for?" she asks, putting on her seatbelt.
i smile and nod. "yeah."

after alot of convincing i finally got billie to let me stay with her for the night. she put on a strong front but i knew she was still pretty shooken up.
she gave me a hoodie to sleep in and some blankets and pillows.
"you sure you want sleep on the couch? i mean it's uncomfortable and your back-"
"you want me to sleep with you?" i look over at her. she blushes and gulps.
"well i mean if you want to- i know it's weird or it sounds weird... maybe it isn't weird-"
i let out a laugh and she nervously smiles.
"it's not weird. c'mon, let's get some rest." i grab the blankets and stuff and she leads me to her room.
"your room is so cool." i say setting the items down.

"thanks." she smiles and gets into bed. i get in on the other side and she pulls the cover up.
"hey kam."
"yeah?" i turn to face her. she looks at me and smiles.
"thank you."
"no need to thank me. i'm just being a good friend." i smile. she nods and i watch as she slowly closes her eyes.
"goodnight billie." i whisper softly and then close my own eyes.
