Annabeth chase didn't leave the Poseidon cabin for two weeks after the funeral of her former lover. Shutting herself off from the world, grieving on her own, in the comfort of his cabin she found solace. But since coming out of the cabin, she left camp all together in the night. And hasn't been seen since.

Some expected her to come back, but she hadn't shown.

The situation was the same with Poseidon, the sea god retreated into his home on Atlantis in a state of depression over losing his son. And vowed not to have anymore children, in fear they would face the same face as his favourite child.

After the two camps made their peace, following the devastating war, and the loss of a hero, the decision was made by the senior powers of both Camp Jupiter and Camp Half Blood that the camps would be combined, to bring demigods closer together as a family and to help cope with the losses of the war together.

So no one was alone.

Neither camp was actually moved or rebuilt, there was a "doorway" you could call it. Invented by Athena herself, with the help of the goddess Hecate, to allow for passage between both camps of free will. And together both camps were renamed to be Camp Olympia. The hot zone for demigod population.

Annabeth Chase

I couldn't bring myself to concentrate at the awards ceremony, but I do remember what happened...

Flashback

I sat at the feet of my mothers throne, as did the rest of the seven. The senior campers were also in attendance. While the campers were stood watching around the throne rooms sides.

I looked down at my hands, I still had Percy's blood covering them in some places, where I hadn't quite scrubbed them well enough. Scars adorned my hands, as well as majority of my body, from the harrowing experience of Tartarus I spent with him.

It still haunts me, what happened there. And I seriously doubt it will ever leave me. Ingrained forever in my memory. I suppose you could call it post traumatic stress.

He was tortured, both physically and mentally, but he did the mentally part to himself. Me, well I had to watch, sometimes I was hit or stabbed but not as much as him... he suffered through it all.

"Will the seven of the prophecy please stand before the council" I flinched at the booming voice of king of the gods, as it knocked me out of my own thoughts.

Agonisingly slow, I willed my body to move as I, along with the remaining seven, made our way to the centre of the throne room.

"Heroes, you have truly provided Olympus such a service. Fighting for your friends, family, and the mortal world. For this you will be rewarded."
Zeus announced.

Hephaestus stood. "Leo Valdez, my son. I offer you partial immortality, do you accept?"

Leo was shocked, but he nodded his head, choosing to remain silent as he was gifted. Hephaestus shot him with a beam of his godly energy, and Leo glowed a bright light, I covered my eyes, only to open them as the light receded away. He didn't look noticeably different, apart from a slight glow his skin had undertaken, and the larger aura he exuded, he was still Leo, just with partial immortality.

Hephaestus smiled, proud of his son and his achievements as he sat back down.

The rest of the awards continued on, with each member receiving partial immortality.
