"So its a date?" Benjis says
"I mean is it? I wouldn't mind it being a date"
"okay, it's a date I'll pay" he says smiling
"Well... should we get dressed up or are we just going to go in our uniforms"
"Well I only brought my uniform but I can always just barrow one of your shirts" he says pointing at my closet
"Yah go ahead look to see what you like" I say walking over to the closet with him
Benji walks in and starts looking through all my clothes.
I still don't know if he was joking by "a date" like does he mean a romantic date or a friend date... BENJI BE MORE SPECIFIC!!!
"Hmm this ones cute..." he says pulling out a pink shirt and snapping me out of my thoughts
"Yah i don't wear it to often, try it on" I say
Still standing outside the closet
"Hmm i don't know...I think you'd look good in it..you try it on, and while you're at it try these on too" he says pulling out a pair of blue jeans
"Benji we were supposed to be looking for a shirt for you not me." I say In a bratty way
"I was just looking for an excuse to get you to let me look through your closet.. I brought a change of clothes from home.. I knew you were going to say yes to going out so I planned ahead."
"You are such an idiot" i laugh
"Yah but you gotta give it to me.. I'm a smart idiot"
"What ever" I saying Turing around and walking into the bathroom to try on the outfits he picked out for me
I quickly change into it and look at my self in the mirror
"Hurry up!! We only have 20 minutes!" Benji yells from outside
"Okay!!!" I say opening the door
"Here" I mumble.
"Ohhhhh i Like this one" benji says walking towards me
"I don't know, I don't really like this shirt it's kinda light.. makes me look really pale "
"Well I like it... it makes you look beautiful Jorge... please wear it" he says looking at me with puppy dog eyes
"Okay.. Fine.. I'll wear it but only because you're paying for dinner" I saying pointing at him aggressively
"Deal! Now put your uniform back on we have to get going soon"
TIME SKIP TO AFTER SCHOOL
"I don't think I like my 2nd period.." I say to benji as we walk up a hill to get to my house
"Really... why" he asks taking a bite out of his granola bar
"The people, they are all so loud and disrespectful to the teacher"
"Well we are in high school. I feel like that's expected for every class so if that's the only class you have that problem with consider yourself lucky" he holds out the granola bar
"Thank you...." i grab it and take a bite
"But like the class is just so early in the morning I don't want to deal with them but I'm stuck with those kids for 1 hour" I complain with a mouth full of granola
"Yah I get that. You should just invest in a good pair of headphones to block everyone out it works for me" he says to me pointing at his AirPods that are in his pocket
"Yah...that's actually a great idea"
After 5 more minutes of talking about our day and walking we get to my house
"Helloooo!! Who's home?!" I yell from the door way as benji and I take off our shoes
"No ones home" I turn to say to benji
"Cool" He says
We both walk down to my room and benji picks up his other book bag he left here that I assume had his clothes in it.
"You are going to love my outfit Jorge.."
He says pulling it out of his bag
"Am I.. how do you know for sure" I tease as I lay on my bed looking threw my phone
"Trust me" he says and walks into the bathroom
"I trust you" I laugh
As I wait for benji to change I quickly go on instagram and post a Instagram story.

"Can't wait for today to happen "
I close Instagram and shut off my phone seeing as that's the only social media I actually have.
"You ready" I hear benji ask from the bathroom
"Ready as I'll ever be Benjamin" I turn my head towards the bathroom door
He opens the door and reveals his outfit
"woah... you look.. good" i stutter immediately blushing at the sight of him
"You like it don't you, I knew you would, you said you like muscles so I thought I'd let the tiny amount I have see the sun today." He laughs
"Yah i like it, it makes you look really good benji" the red on my face is just getting worse every time I look up
"Okay go get ready" He says walking over to me grabbing my hand and pulling me up to my feet and laying down where I was once laying
"K I'll be out in a second"
I grab the clothes I left on my chair this morning and head into the bathroom.
As soon as I close the door I feel my face getting more red.
Why can I just be normal... he's your friend he should make you feel this way.. it's just a tank top.. not like he's literally completely naked infront of you...
I quickly splash my face with cold water and start getting dressed
"Jorge you look Fine" i Assure Myself
"Yes you do" benji says from the bedroom
"Shut up" I yell from the bathroom
"Come out already.."
I open the door and walk out.
"look at you!!" He says in awe
"Shut it.... okay what do I need?" I ask him as I sit on my desk chair and turn it to look at him.
"You got your phone, your self, and me.. I think that's all"
"seriously, Should I bring my wallet just Incas-"
"Nope I'm paying for everything we want to do remember.. there is no need"
"Fine"
We both get up and benji orders an Uber on his phone
"His name is Ben and he drives a grey Toyota"
"lets hope he's nice"
"He better be no ones gonna ruin my day"
We both walk out of my house and into the drive way where Ben was going to pick us up in 2 minutes.
"What do you want to do first"
"I don't know.. maybe the park"
"Aw Yah that sounds nice we can pick some stuff up from the groceries and have a picnic"
"Yah that sounds really nice."
"Okay see now I don't have to pay for a fancy dinner"
we both laugh
Our Uber shows up right on time
Even if it isn't a real date to him it's a real one to me.
