Jorge's POV
Benji and I have been sitting, eating and singing along to these old love songs for almost 40 minutes now.
He doesn't want to tell me what emotion the playlist Titled "💦💦🍆🍑🥵" is for, im pretty sure I know.. because I have my own playlist for that exact one as well.
"Benji.. after we eat you wanna go on a walk around the lake." I say taking a bite out of the chip I was holding
"Sure."
We finish up our foods and I start to get up.
"Um Jorge." I hear benji mumble
"What." I say sitting back down
"I- never mind I'll tell you later"
Tell me later... what
"What?" I ask very confused
"Nothing... I was gonna say something but it doesn't matter."
"Oh okay. You can ask me anything you know" I reassure him and get up on my feet
I hold my hand out and help benji Up almost losing my balance since benji is a lot bigger then me.
We pick up our trash and start walking around the park.
"Benji can we hold hands" I say so quietly it almost went by his head
"Yah of course" he says and slides his fingers in between mine giving me the same feeling from earlier.
How do I tell him I never want him to stop touching me.. without it sounding weird.
We get to a trash can and benji lets go of my hand and runs to it to throw away the bag full of garbage from our picnic.
He walks back with an ear to ear smile on his face holding out his hand.
I smile back and walk towards him.
We collide our hands together once again.
"So what were you gonna tell me back there?" I ask him
"Oh I forgot"
"You forgot." I say kinda annoyed since I actually wanted to know
"Yah it was probably something stupid anyways, doesn't matter."
"Yes it does... everything you say matters." I say to him and squeeze his hand a bit.
"No trust me I say stuff I don't really mean all the time. I was probably gonna say a stupid joke or something" he awkwardly laughs
"I want to hear your bad jokes." I say to him moving closer
"I forgot what I was gonna say remember."
I give him a sad face and look forward again
"Lets play a game." Benji says interrupting the silence
"Oohhh kayyy weirdo??.. what game!"
"Hmmm 50 questions" he says in a jumpy voice
"Okay I'll start" I say
"Okay ask away jorge!"
"Okay um... Question numero uno, are you having fun." I ask
"Jorge.. yes!! This is the best date I've ever been on" he says smiling at me
