Ch: 2 The Move That Changed Your Life Forever

Once you answered you heard Hayden on the other line.

You:"um there's something I have to tell you"

Hayden:"Omg Okay I'm here for you y/n what happened?"

You:"I'm moving to Haddonfield Illinois in a week or two because my parents are getting a divorce"

You could feel yourself tearing up but you needed to stay strong... But you just couldn't it was too much for you.. You started sobbing into your phone while hugging your knees.

Hayden:"Awww y/n please don't cry i know it hurts and that there's a lot going on but think about the positives you will be able to make new friends that will care about you just as much as I do"

You could hear the sadness in Hayden's voice as they said this and you hear them start to cry quietly. It hurt you to hear your best friend cry.

You:"Don't cry Hayden its just.. I don't know if I will meet anyone as amazing as you Hayden. You have helped me through so much and I love you so so much I just.. Don't want to leave you"

Hayden: "I understand that but you will find some amazing friends. How could you not you're a weirdo yes but that's why I love you because you are always you"

You:"Thank you Hayden you have really helped me out but I'm really tired so I think I'm gonna go to sleep. I love you so so so much bubs goodnight"

Hayden: "I'm tired too goodnight I love you too weirdo and remember it gets better"

You can hear the sound of Hayden hanging up as you go to lay down in bed and try to fall asleep. But you couldn't stop thinking about the move and how you were going to have to start over and make new friends.

A few weeks had past and you were moving tomorrow. You had said goodbye to all of your friends the night before. Last night you and Hayden were standing on the sidewalk crying into each others arms because you were going to miss each other so so much.

It was the next day and you were helping your mom pack up the car. The anxiety about the move hadn't fully kicked in until now. You were worried about how the kids in Haddonfield would react to you. You wondered if they would think that you were a freak like the kids from the school you were leaving did. You wondered if you would find a new best friend. No you thought to yourself no one is better than Hayden its impossible I mean they are Hayden.
