Ch:3 Arriving In Haddonfield Illinois

Your sister Lila was able to sleep during the drive but you couldn't sleep. So you watched some YouTube on your phone while you waited to get to your new home. You hadn't realized how long you were on your phone for until you heard your mom say "We're here girls welcome to your new home". You had arrived in Haddonfield Illinois it was a very simple place but it was quite beautiful. You saw your new home it was a simple white house with black shutters and you thought it was a really nice house. Lila saw and said "Oooooooooooooh Mommy its really really pretty ". You smiled you loved your little sister so much. You began walking into your new home and then began to unpack your things. Lila ran into your room and said "y/n can I sleep in your room tonight I'm scared to sleep alone tonight"You said yes because you were a little scared of sleeping here too. You and Lila curled up and began to fall asleep. It was the next next day and your first day at the new school you were insanely nervous and hoped to make at least one friend. You walked out your front door and noticed a boy with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. His eyes mesmerized you they were so beautiful and yet dark you loved it. You needed to talk to him so you began walking over to him. You said "Hello I'm y/n what's your name. I'm new here we just moved in across the street" He looked at you with a confused face but replied with " I'm Michael do you want to walk to school together". You said "yeah I would love to" and the two of you began walking to school together. You kept glancing over at him and couldn't help but notice how he was looking down while he walked. You also noticed how sad he was you didn't know why but it hurt you seeing him this sad even though you barely knew him. You said "Um Hey Michael are you ok?" He looked up with a look of confusion and said " No not really why are you being so nice to me ?". You were confused on how he was so curious on why you cared. So you replied to him with "I'm being nice to you because I really hope we can be friends and truly do care about you Michael." He looked at you with those beautiful eyes,smiled,and grabbed your hand. You guys held hands and talked for the rest of the walk to school. You felt safe with Michael around you. You arrived at school and saw everyone staring you got nervous and hid behind Michael he was still holding your hand and said" It's okay y/n they won't hurt you as long as I'm here". You smiled and looked up at him and gave him a hug. He hugged you back and you were hugging until you heard the bell ring. You and Michael were talking and it turns out you guys were in the same class. You held hands while walking down the hall then he tugged your arm pulling you towards a classroom. Once you walked in your face was instantly red as everyone stared at your hands. You didn't let go of his hand though because for some reason holding his hand and knowing he was with you made you feel safe. The teacher said "Hello Class this is y/n she has just moved here and we expect you to all treat her with respect". You heard a student known as Jake yell "No way is she getting my respect she held hands with the freak Myers". You felt Michaels grip on your hands tighten. You looked at Jake and said "Michael isn't a freak he's my friend unlike you he actually knows how to talk to girls ". You looked at Michael and saw him blush and he pulled you into a hug and you quickly returned the hug and smiled into his shoulder.
