Falling in love with the Boogeyman

Ch. 4 There's something special about Michael.

You stayed in Michael's embrace until you heard the bell ring. Neither of you wanted to let go but you knew you had to. You both pulled away and looked each other in the eyes while blushing. Why did Michael have this effect on you. You two had only met hours before but it feels as if you've known him for years. Looking into those beautiful dark blue eyes made you melt. Being in Michael's warm embrace is the place you felt most at home and most safe. He made you smile more than anyone else has been able to especially after the move. You miss Hayden and your father so much. You start tearing up and Michael notices so he simply grabs your hand and sends you a sympathetic smile. This absolutely melts your heart. What is he doing to you? You decided to ask him if he wanted to hangout after school because you didn't want to have to leave him. You: "Michael would you like to come over my house after school"
Michael: "Yeah I would love too!! Are you sure you're okay with that"
You: "Of course I'm okay with it. Do you wanna walk home together later?"
Michael: "Yeah I would love too!"
You both just stare at each other for awhile until you have to start your school work.
*8 hours later*
You and Michael are walking home together. 
You: "M-Michael can I ask you something?"
Michael: "Of course!!"
You: "O-Okay so would you like to be my best friend?"  You started blushing after saying this which made Michael giggle.
Michael: "Yeah I would!!"
He started blushing too which made your heart scream. You stopped walking and jumped into Michaels arms. He was startled at first but he caught you and held you.  You started giggling which made Michael giggle.
You both arrived at your house and you raced to the front door. You ran a lot faster than Michael so you won the race. You opened your front door and begin to walk inside. You were surprised at what you saw. Your mom was crying. You ran over to her
Mom: " Y/N I'm so sorry but you won't be able to see Hayden anymore and you can't go see your father this summer."
This broke your heart Hayden was there from day 1 and now they're gone too and you can't see your father this summer either. Could this day have gotten any worse?
You: "Why can't I see them?"
Mom: "I got into a huge fight with Hayden's mom. I have a feeling we won't be talking anymore. I'm really really sorry Y/N"
You started sobbing and ran upstairs to your bedroom and startled sobbing into your pillow. You then heard a knock at the door.
You: "W-Who's there?"
Michael: "It's me Michael. Can I come in?"
You: "Yeah you can"
Michael came into your room and sat next to you. He put his arm around your shoulders and you began to sob into his shoulder. He just sat there holding you while you let every bit of emotion you had built up out. After 35 minutes of sobbing Michael finally asked : " Y/N what's wrong?"
You: "I can't see my friend Hayden anymore I've known them for practically my whole life. I'm not going to be able to see my dad this summer either."
Michael: "I'm so sorry Y/N I had no idea"
Michael have you a hug after this and you both just sat there holding each other.
