A change

With a blink of an eye, it was the weekends, i was slowly starting to forget what had happened with Mr. Andervel that day. "Well life throws some strange rocks at you sometimes" I thought and giggled to myself. And that's when i kinda realised that i was in a good mood after a long time, and that rarely happens to me. Since it was Saturday I decided to take a walk in the town and get myself some coffee to warm up.

As I kept walking, i felt nothing but the same old winter breeze like every other year, i got inside a Starbucks, and i couldn't help but order myself something different and not your regular cappuccino like i always get.

I walked out of the coffee store with a caramel latte in my hands and i was beyond confused and happy with it at the same time. But i couldn't help but think what's different about my life today and what I'm missing.

I sat on a snow covered park bench and watched as leaves fall off the trees. Nothing exciting ever catches my eye and i knew it.
And with a quick second I realise that it was almost 7. Men working outside their houses, decorating their homes with Christmas lights and trees. The smell of freshly baked banana bread and cookies went up my nostrils and i couldn't help my sigh to myself. After all, I've never experienced such happiness and joy before any Christmas ever. And going back home wasn't the most pleasing feeling I've ever felt.

But something tickled my heart to think something's waiting for me. After all, after years I've felt somewhat good today, i didn't know what it was that made my visions change today but i felt like something different was about to happen.
