Aunty lee, and I started walking miles and miles far away from our neighborhood. It almost didn't feel like a walk outside your house but felt more like, she planned a destination for the two of us to go to. Before I had the chance to ask her where we were going, she said.
"Wow I was really hoping for us to reach there before sunset." She said. "Reach where?" I questioned her while being confused.
We were walking to a bridge. And I suddenly see a tall boy, looking down to the river at the end of the bridge.
He started approaching us, and that very moment. I realised who it was. I could've recognized those astonishing hazel green eyes anywhere. It was Jason, Jason Andervall from school.
"You know him if I'm not mistaken right Crystal? Jason is my bestfriend's son and recently transferred to your highschool in NewYork. He's a little hard to get along with but I really wanted you guys to be friends since I realised you're quite lonely too often"
"You don't need to be too pushy now Leeana, you can go home now."
I stood there in confusion, not a word left my mouth until I saw aunty Lee walk back home.
"What's with that look?" Jason said.
"It's nothing" I said
"Doesn't look like nothing" he said
"I really wanted to see the snow again, and properly. Didn't think I'd be walking myself to a date."
"Haha what exactly makes you think this is a date? I don't do highschoolers..I think. Just here because leeana wouldn't stop bugging me to get my ass to make some friends." Said Jason.
After that, he turned his back and kept staring at the river again. And I watched at his hair parted ways with the breeze. The veins on his wrists and how his eyes blinked slowly. "What is wrong with me" I ask myself inside my head. This intimidation and tension was confusing. Something I've never felt before.
"You smell like candy, you know that?" Said Jason.
"How'd you get my scent from that distance?" I replied
"I didn't, I'm just assuming." Said Jason.
Instead of being creeped out, my cheeks turned a peachy colour. It was pretty visible to the human eye because of my pale skin tone.
"So you're into creeps? Greaaat." Said Jason.
"You're really pushing it now" I said.
"But you're not complaining now are you?" He said.
"No" I replied.
"Didn't think so haha, come on let's take a walk." He said.
