Winter hues

A new way

Its another day in my room, everything was just as usual as it always was at home during. My really distant aunt happen to suddenly visit me after a good 1 decade and I had no clue why. turns out she never knew her childhood favourite cousin ended up like this. And also the fact that she had a 16year old niece.

Exactly the 3rd day of December, a warm sound of laughter woke me up from sleep like never before.

"Come here my darling, how long have i waited for this very moment." said my distant aunt sitting Infront of my drug addict mother.

"Um..hey there aunty-" I struggled as I tried to remember her name.
"Lee" my darling. said Aunt Lee.
"Oh look at you, such gorgeous eyes my dear. I quite don't understand who you got it from though" said Aunt Lee.

"A demon haha" my mother whispered.

Now now Karen, you don't have to be that rude now do you? Crystal, would you like to accompany me to the book store down the street, and maybe get some coffee? said Aunt Lee.

Yeah, sure it'd be nice to go outside again I suppose, I haven't seen winter this beautiful in so long. Or I think ever if I try to recall my past. I said.

Wonderful my dear, I'll give you 10mins to throw on a coat and little face powder, it's awfully necessary. said Aunt Lee.

Aha, sorry about that Aunt Lee, I've haven't had the best sleep schedule I guess. Alright, see you Infront of the door.

I didn't understand why, but I was excited about seeing the snow again. the memories from that evening flushed through my mind. but, I was afraid. Afraid about telling her what had happened to my family. And what had happened to me and why I'm like this. What was the main reason she decided to visit us after such a long span of time anyway? I thought to my self. Guess we'll find out in a bit.
