Adelind and madalind chester are great shadowhunters ; fierce, competitive yet kind. They were one of a kind . The innocent children of gods. They were the future .

Adalind loved her younger sister (Madelind) so much that she promised to her parents she would protect her at all costs . The chester sibilings were to leave idris , a place they call home , to visit other institutes . To temporarily take over to help and learn while they are at it. They are to do this because soon they would take over an institute for good. Since they bounce from institute to institute the rarely spend time with family.

"Adalind,madalind " mrs chester greeted her daughters

"Evening, mother" adalind said as she watched her mother embrace her sister only to send a smile her way. Adalind knew that older children are to be more mature and responsible.

"I have news from the envoy clave that you two have yet another institute to crash" the mother said as the sisters smiled

"NYC institute where the lightwoods are to take care of you" the girls seemed excited , the lightwoods are a superior family with a strong reputation

"Who is going to portal us ?" Asked madalind

"Your father is asking a warlock to make a portal " she glanced at adalind before continuing "your father has something to say before you leave , hes in the hall "
The girls watch as their mother leaves.

"Hey dad, mom said you wanted to speak to us" adalind calls out as they both embrace eachother

"Yes , before you go . You might want to spice up their evening " mr chester smiles with a mischievous smirk
Adalind knew instantly what to do . She shapeshifted into valentine, therefore she could test the reflexes of the shadowhunters most lethal enemy coming through their wards . They smiled .

" lets do this " said the oldest to the youngest as they walk through the portal.

Valentine walked through the doors of the institute with a member of the circle. Soon an arrow shot towards them by the one and only ...Alec lightwood. Valentine managed to catch the arrow which earned a gasp from around the room. The two took out their steles and revealed their true identity. There stood no valentine and his alie but two beautiful girls smiling ,amused yet dissatisfied.

" that was a horrible reflex " adalind said as she walked closer "except for you" adalind pointed at the muscled figure with raven hair . Madalind laughed.

"Who are y-" the raven boy tried to ask but is interrupted by maryse lightwood, his mother .

"Adalind its so nice to see you , although not in this circumstance"

" im sent here with my sister to become the head of this institut ...temporarily " addie adds.

" how come ...no one has informed us " maryse hesitatantly looking at alec and back to the girls
"And there was no need to" madalind finally spoke as to adalind seemed to be more interested in the boy in front of her. She admired his features as she began to zone out more and more. Her heartbeat stopping occasionally . And her breathing slowing down . She was taken back by his handsomeness .

"I cant wait to get my hands on him" adalind whispered to herself as she basically drooled at the sight .
