The sound of alecs phone piercing our ears. Alec was about to answer but izzy stopped him .
" no talking just resting" izzy said as she answerd and walked away
" i agree" adalind said looking at his wound.
" are you okay?" Adalind asks as izzy told jace what happend
" i'll live"

Adalind and the clave members walked up to meliorn and izzy .
Meliorn was a seelie . Him and izzy had a thing and the clave believes izzy told the seelies some information about valentine. Therefore they ordered adalind to arrest him.

" meliorn , by the order of the clave you are place under arrest "

" what for" izzy is stunned

" taking secrets from a shadowhunter on behave of valentine morgenstern"

Izzy watched as the guards take him away.

"Are you insane"

" me? You are lucky you werent taken along with him"

" look meliorn told me how to get into the hotel demurt so we could save a mundane"

"And you told him nothing in return?"

" look izzy we dont blame you for this"

"Valentine has been murdering seelies and using ther blood for-"

"Do you have proof?"

"Is she serious ....are you gonna let them arrest meliorn?" Izzy asks alec

" look , its not her fault. She has orders"

" are you sure?"

"Yes shes innocent "

" or are you just saying that because you kissed her "

"Hey" jace interrupted  "i have spoken to robert and maryse
They have been sent back to idris"

"What"

"Yeah"

" another order from adalind "

" whose adalind?"

" shes incharge if the institute...her and alec have a thing clearly"

" what" jace said

" temporarily and we dont "

" so what our parents arent taking care of the institute "

" maybe they werent . The foresaken got in under their responsibility "

"What are you talking about"

"We are going to take meliorn to be questioned by the silent brothers " adalind says

" you cant do that"

" its not by choice izzy. We have orders" alec says

Adalind,  alec and other
shadowhunters are walking down the alley. Making thier way to the silent brothers. The city of bones .
Suddenly they hear roars and paw scratching

"Warewolfs" alec said as they were surrounded by dogs .

" this could be a trap " adalind said

" we will take meliorn , you guys take care of the warewolfs" alec said grabbing meliorn with adalind by his side.

They were walking when a sound of a grunt echoed behind them . They turned around to see nothing and noone. No guards . No Warewolfs. 
Alec and adalind glance at eachother before continuing to walk on.
It was definitely just a trap.
When out of no where a Warewolf jumped out and attacked adalind. She screamed as she clawed her face .
Alec immediately let go of meliorn and punched the dog. The warewolf yelped with pain. Alec took this time to look back at meliorn . But he saw jace and clary take him away  . Instead of going after them he stayed with adalind.  He couldnt leave her without knowing shes okay.

"Hey , open your eyes beautiful " a voice called out. Adalind awoke . Her eyes blinking at the sight of alec sitting next to her. His eyes lit up.
The morning sun shining through the room.
Adalind looked down and saw that she was in his room . In his shirt. Wearing his cologne.

" what happened " she asks

" you were attacked by a warewolf but i punched him and he ran away"

" you saved me " she giggled 

" oh dont flatter yourself " he smiled

" what happened with meliorn "

" jace and clary took him"

" oh , he didnt deserve it. And im sure if we took him to the silent brothers we could have proven that to the clave"

" i knew you didnt want this to happen"

" ofcourse not"

"Have you heard of what happened to my fiance...how he died" adalind said

" yeah ...demon attack "

" yes .....i just dont want to make the same mistake. If only i did what needed to be done "

"We rule with our heads not pur hearts" 

"Agreed" alec smiled " anything..

" hey ...hows training with jace and hodge?" Addy ask

" i learned alot actually " she said smirking sitting down on my bed , next to me.

"Word travels fast here ... whats up with you and alec..huh?" She asks
Adalinds face burned red.

" oh- umh i dont know"
Madz raised an eyebrow at her sister . She knew her all too well.

" i mean we kissed "

" you kissed alec lightwood " her sister freaking out

" its not a big deal" adalind says

Madalind laughed " so when,  where "

Adalind tells madalind the details when a question came up

" so how'd you end up with a scratch on your cheek" madalind asks

" i got attacked by a warewolf but luckily for me i had alec there and he saved me "
