Request: "Can I request a chan scenario working in the studio late and you miss him so you go to his studio and climb on his lap and he wraps his arms around you and kisses your forehead and goes to ask you opinion about a song and finds that you are asleep and smiles gently." By anon
Summary: (do I really need one? The request says it all xD)
A/N: Okay people are really soft for SKZ right now xD I keep getting all these requests of the reader falling asleep while with them xD☆☆☆
You sigh into your pillow, glaring blearily at the clock. It's well after midnight, and you should be asleep, but your mind is wide awake with thoughts of Chan. He's been working night and day to prep for the Miroh: Clé comeback, and while you appreciate how important this is to him, you also can't help but worry and miss him. He's been having to cancel your dates lately because of his last-minute scramble to get everything under control.
Suddenly, your phone buzzes with a text, and the light illuminates the room.
Chan: Does this sound better? I tried double-layering the bass this time. Or is it too heavy now?
You blink down at the phone in confusion, with absolutely no clue what Chan is talking about.
Y/N: Um... did I miss something?
Chan: Oh, shoot, I'm so sorry Y/N – I hit the wrong contact. I was trying to send it to the 3Racha gc. I'm so sorry if I woke you!
Y/N: It's fine. Are you at the studio rn?
Chan: Yeah. Don't worry about me though, I'm almost done. Gnight, Y/N. Sleep well!
Liar, you think. Because Chan's definition of "almost done" basically translates to "another few hours". So, fueled by your own worry and the memory of all the canceled dates, you haul yourself out of bed, tug on your shoes, and trudge out the door. Destination? The 3Racha studio.

"Chan?" You knock carefully on the door before slowly cracking it open, and the sudden thumping of the music nearly deafens you for a moment. You spot your boyfriend though, hunched over the control panel or whatever the danged thing is, his laptop in front of him, his head bobbing along to the music. After a few seconds though, he gives a frustrated grunt and stops the song, now shaking his head as he runs a hand through his shaggy hair.
"No, no, not like that..." he grumbles.
"Chan?"
Startled by your, he jumps a good two feet into the air, then quickly swivels his chair around towards you. "A-ah! Y/N! Gosh, you scared me... but what are you doing here? You should be at home, asleep!"
"You're one to talk," you chide, walking over to him. "What's all this? I thought the songs were finished."
Chan sighs and leans back heavily, gently patting his lap as in invitation for you to sit. You oblige him, gently resting your head on his shoulder and wrappings your arms lightly around his neck. Chan presses a soft kiss to your forehead, his own arms snaking around your waist as he explains wearily, "The track had some issues, so I'm having to mix it all over again."
"Issues?" you yawn sleepily. "What sort of issues?"
Chan sighs again as he gently spins the chair around so he's facing the console once again. He frees one hand from around you and begins hitting some buttons as he says, "The file got corrupted, somehow. We lost all the music that was on it. Thankfully it was just this one song, or else you'd be attending my funeral in a few days."
"Don't say stuff like that," you mumble into his shoulder.
"Alright, alright," Chan laughs softly, giving your back a reassuring rub. "But I need to finish this tonight; we have so much else we need to do, wrapping up the pre-release promos, then the post-release performances and stages and stuff. You really should go home, though."
You shake your head, not opening your eyes. "You stay, I stay," you murmur.
"But Y/N..." You feel Chan's chest rise and fall in another sigh as he runs his hand through his hair. He finally relents though, mumbling, "Alright, fine, you can stay tonight... next time though, I'm changing the passcode to the studio," he threatens lightly.
You ignore his piddly threat, knowing full well that you just need to pull the puppy eyes with Han or Changbin, and they'd blurt the numbers without you having to lift a finger.
Chan shakes his head at your blatant dismissal of his warning, but turns back to the console, continuing to flip some switches, press buttons, and slide the slider controls, going back and forth between his laptop all the while.
A few minutes later, he hits play and says, "Here, if you're going to stay, you might as well be useful, eh? What do you think of this?"
There's no reply.
He glances down at you, your eyes closed and your face buried in the crook of his neck, chest rising and falling in the steady rhythm of sleep. Chan gives a soft laugh and shakes his head, then turns and stops the music. Carefully, he rises to his feet and carries you over to the studio's couch, gently laying you down on it. He lips just brush your forehead in another soft kiss as he murmurs, "Sleep well, Y/N. Sleep well." Then he retreats back to his chair, plugging in the headphones as he continues to work, casting glances back at you every now and then, a soft smile spreading across his face every time.
If it's going to be like this every time... maybe he won't change the passcode, then.
