"Jessica breakfast is ready." I get up for school, picking out a creamed lace shirt and three quarter length jeans.

I sling my bag over my shoulder I go down the stairs and grab a piece of toast from the counter that is smeared with vegemite

"Hey don't forget your book I liked it by the way" my mother told me as I picked up my book

"you weren't supposed to read it ahhh it isn't even finished" I replied walking out the door.

hi I'm Jessica and I live with my mum, and my father is on a business trip selling his books I go to west high and I'm in senior year

"Hey jess want a ride!" yelled Jace over the loud music Jace is a guy in senior like me and roomers are said that he had a crush on me since middle school

"No I'm fine" I replied walking off

"Come on" he pleaded

"no I've got to pick up my friend anyway" I reply fixing up my bag strap

"Suit yourself you just missed a ride with the hottest guy in school," he grinned

"Nah don't think I did." I smiled walking off.

I knocked on the door of Rachelle's house and her aunty answered the door

"Hi jess do you want to come in, Rashelle will just be a few minutes," she said opening the door wider to allow me in I walked inside and sit on the sofa playing on my phone while waiting for Rachelle

"Hey jess you want to get going "she said half walking and half running down the spiral steps

"Yeah," I said getting up and giving Rashelle a hug.

We walk out the house saying goodbye to her aunt

"you too girls be good." she called from the kitchen

"We will," we yelled from out the door.

We walked on the side of the foot path to school which was only 10 minutes away and we cached up on our weekends

"Hey Rashelle, guess what happened this morning," I asked

"Omg what" she said excitedly

"Jace asked me for a ride again," I said sounding annoyed

"Ow come on he's just wants to be a friend" she smiled.

I gave her a wiry look

"Seriously, He's liked me since middle school," I sighed

"Then go out with him" she said shaking me

"No I have to study if I want to be a writer" I told Rashelle

"Just one date and I will be there all the time." Rachelle pleaded

"Fine one date," I said worried because I had a feeling it was not going to be good.
