I met the love of my life at a club

I thought i'd never see him again

When I woke up I was in a different bed by myself. On the nightstand was a note, glass of water, and aspirin. On the note said had a fun night had to go to work Luke. I took the aspirin because my head was pounding. Than got out of the bed and put my clothes on. I fixed the bed grabbed my purse and called a cab.
When I got home I took a shower changed clothes and went to my moms house to get kayla. On the way home I bought us lunch/breakfast it was 12:30 when I got her. Emily came over with her little cousin angel. While angel and Kayla were in the living room playing me and Emily talked in the kitchen. "So what happened last night" Emily said before drinking her tea. "I had a one night stand with him" I said knowing I couldn't lie. "Was it good" she asked. "It was the best" I say thinking back to last night. "To bad you'll never see him again". "So what did you and lily do after I left" I asked before taking a sip of my tea. "Lily left with some guy and I got super drunk and called my cousin. She took me to her house because apparently I wouldn't tell her my address so I thanked her by watching angel while she ran some errands for letting me stay over". "Oh. I applied for this job at this company called Luke Jacobs enterprises a few days ago and have an interview tomorrow" I said getting nervous just talking about it. It pays more than both my jobs combined. "I hope you get it let me know how it goes tomorrow" she said before her phone rang. A few moments later Emily got off the phone and said she had to leave. "My cousin said she's on her way home so got to get angel back home" "she doesn't know you left her house" I asked not wanting to get blamed for angel not being at home. "We were already out she just doesn't know I made quick stop well she does know I told her on the phone but told her I'm leaving" she said standing up and putting her mug in the sink. "Well thanks for stopping by and bringing angel" I said standing up to give her a hug. "Your welcome maybe next time i baby sit kayla can come over" she said before walking to the living room. "Yea kayla would like that" I said before picking kayla up and kissing her cheeks. "Wouldn't you Kayla" I asked her and she said yes in her cute little voice. The girls said bye and angel and Emily left. The rest of the night me and Kayla watched movies, ate dinner, then went to bed around 10.
Monday morning
I got up made breakfast took kayla to school since I didn't have work today. Than got ready for my interview. "How can I help you" a lady asked behind a desk. "I have a interview with Luke Jacobs" I said. "Your name is" the lady asked. "Hanna Smith". She grabbed the phone dialed a number and said "Hanna smith is here to see you". " top floor door across from the elevator" she said politely. "Thank you" I said before walking towards the elevator. When I got to the top floor i knocked on the door and a man said come in. When I open the door the ceo was last person I thought I'd see. "Hanna" the mans said standing up. "Luke your the ceo" I asked confused. "Yes I am come in have a seat" he said walking to sit down in the chair next to me. "Resume please" he asked holding his hand out. "Here you go" I said handing it to him. "I see here you don't have a college degree" he said before looking up for an answer. "I'm still in college" I say. "How long do you have left" he asked still looking through my resume. "This is my last year" I say. "This job does require a college diploma but if you get it this year there should be no problem" he said before turning the page. "When's Your last day" he asks looking at me. "December 15" I say looking at the floor. "Everything else on here looks fine I don't see why you can't have the job so the job is yours if you still want it" he says before handing me my resume. "I do thank you so much" I say smiling. "I'm hoping what happens Saturday won't effect working together" he says standing up and leaning against his desk. "It won't" I say very excited I got the job. "So when can you start" he asks. "I have to put a two weeks notice in for my jobs so probably in 15 days" I say hoping it can work for him. "Ok well I guess this concludes this interview. I'm about to go out for lunch would you like to come we could celebrate you getting the job" he asks walking behind his desk to grab his phone. "Wouldn't that be inappropriate" I ask not wanting to make it awkward between us. "It's just to workers going out for lunch" he says. "Um ok were are we going" I ask
During lunch we talked and got to know each other. I insisted to pay but he refused and paid for both of our meals. We walked back to the building and said bye to each other. I had a little time before I had to pick kayla up so I went to the car wash. After picking up kayla we went home I cooked dinner while she played with her toys than gave her a bath and put her to bed. Then took a bath and went to bed myself.
