"Freddy let me go, I wanna play."

"I know you're excited but you're over heating. You need to lay down for a while." Chica finally began to calm down. Steam flooded out of the back of her neck. She laid back as Freddy left the room. He walked down the hallway toward Pirate's Cove, Foxy hadn't been seen in days. He usually would come out for a little while but it was peculiar now that he hadn't.

Freddy jumped up on stage and pushed back the curtain. "Foxy?" Behind the stage was pitch black except for a little light coming from the small lamp that foxy hid under an old props table. He was curled into a ball next to the table. His ripped ears were laid back, the back of his costume was covered in dust, his eye patch was flipped down and his hook was dug into the floor. There were clawed marks all over from him digging his hook into the stage. Most people don't think that a simple minded robot can feel pain, but let it be known that they can. At night the others could hear him scratching against the walls, moaning, and sometimes even screaming. He had been through more than all of us.

"Go away," he said sternly. The ends of his words would fade out.

"Come out, Bonnie and I were gonna play some poker or something. We could help you get cleaned up."

His head slowly turned to face Freddy, he could see the one eye that he kept uncovered. "I'm fine, leave."

Freddy turned, went through the curtain, and returned to the dining hall where Bonnie had been waiting. "Chica finally calm down?"

Freddy gave out a slight laugh, "Yeah, I got her to lie down before she began to spark."

Bonnie looked up to meet Freddy's eyes, "Did you tell him?"

Freddy's head dropped and his eyes glued to the floor, "I tried, but I just cant talk to him anymore. They wont use him anyways. He's..."

"I know," Bonnie stated before Freddy would have to say the word.

"Freddy!" Chica ran into the dining hall where Freddy and Bonnie had stayed all night. "Good morning."

"Hi pumpkin," Freddy said with a fake smile.

"Hi Bonnie," she continued.

The ends of his mouth curled up just enough to please Chica, "Hi girly."

She jumped in the chair next to Freddy and asked, "Are we really gonna see real kids again?"

"I believe so," Freddy said. There was a sign placed on the front door yesterday stating that the pizzeria were to reopen soon. Since the "Bite of 87" none of them had really been the same. Chica was always able to keep a positive attitude though. She cried a lot at night, especially when we could hear Foxy scratching. Freddy would have to take her as far away from him as he could then hold her till she would calm down. He was the only one who could calm her down, Bonnie would try but it never really worked. They all knew that she loved Bonnie but she had always been close to Freddy. When Freddy would try to tell Foxy that what he did scared her, he would just lash out on him and shout that what happened wasn't his fault. Bonnie would always stand outside the door and listen, sometimes he would go in and try to help Freddy or play with Chica so she wouldn't notice.

The days meant nothing to anyone anymore. What could anyone possible do that was productive? Nothing. Though Freddy did get pretty good at creaming Bonnie at cards. Since the sign had been put on the door, Chica just sat in front of those glass doors and stared at the paper. They could all tell that she was thinking about everything that had happened before 87. Sometimes a smile would light up her face... others, well not so much. Foxy continued to stay behind the curtain. Freddy still wasn't able to tell him the news. He just thought it would make Foxy worse. Bonnie had been cleaning. Maybe he thought he wanted everything to be perfect, even though the humans would come in and change everything before the opening.

*4 months before opening*

"How ya doing?" Bonnie quietly whispered to the other side of the curtain in Pirate's Cove.

Foxy got up and scooted closer to the curtain, but it remained closed. "I'm alright. You guys?" he answered calmly.

"We're fine, Chica wont leave the door."

"What?" Foxy sounded confused.

"A uh," Bonnie paused, "A few weeks ago a sign was put on the door. We're scheduled to open in a few months."

There was a long pause before Foxy allowed a few words to slip from his mouth. "I better get cleaned up soon then, huh matey?"

"Indeed," Bonnie said with a slight laugh. Foxy stood and opened the curtain. Bonnie smiled when he say Foxy's face. "C'mon," Bonnie motioned to the bathroom. He wet an old rag and began to clean Foxy's fur. He completely avoided the spots where there was only metal as not to upset Foxy.

His head hung down as he said, "They still wont use me..."

"Ya never know," Bonnie added.

Dust flew through the air as it left Foxy's fur. "It's so quiet."

"Yeah," Bonnie agreed, "It's been for a while now. Chica was the only one that kept us talking, but with her distracted..."

"Aye."

Freddy sat in the dining hall. His head rested on one of his arms, which was lying on one of the many, long tables, while the other played with a party hat that had never been picked up. He heard footsteps behind him and turned to find a much cleaner Foxy than he remembered and Bonnie standing at his side. "Hey," Freddy said with a surprised tone. Foxy gave a quick smile. He was almost afraid to answer, his eyes were stuck to the ground. "I'll go get Chica." As Freddy walked by them, he placed his hand on Foxy's shoulder and whispered, "Good to see ya Mate."
