"Freddy?"
"Chica?" Freddy began walking to the front room. Chica sat curled up in a ball.
"They called me a duck," she stated, mortified.
Freddy walked over and sat next to her. He placed his paw on her back and said, "Well your name is Chica, how silly of them." Chica smiled. Bonnie stood at the door, he lightly coughed to draw their attention. "You okay?"
"Yeah, they didn't get far enough to see me." Bonnie walked slowly towards them, "Are you okay Chica?"
She answered with light words, "I don't like humans anymore." She got up and ran away from the door.
"Go get Foxy, I'll take care of her."
Freddy began towards Pirate's Cove. All the dust was stirred up in the air from the men. Freddy called out Foxy's name, no response. "C'mon Foxy, they're gone." He jumped up on the stage. As he slowly pulled back the curtain he noticed a lit flashlight lying on the ground.
"Freddy?" Chica's quiet voice said from behind him.
"I couldn't find-" Bonnie called out from the door of Pirate's Cove.
Freddy ignored the both of them and continued towards Foxy. He noticed his hook lying on the ground and more claw marks then before. "Foxy?" Freddy tapped him. "Foxy!?" Chica still stood in the doorway. "Get her out of here," he mumbled. Bonnie took Chica out of the room. Freddy kicked Foxy over and flipped the switch on his back. As soon as Foxy began to reboot, the bear smacked him across the face.
"What?"
"You think you can just shut down like that?"
"Freddy, what are you..."
"You know what I'm talking about! You think that just because you feel sad or hurt that you can just block everything out? No, you can't do that! We all have stuff to deal with too and you are just making it all worse. What if those men that came in today had taken all of us? No one would be here to turn you back on."
Foxy sat up and rubbed his eyes, "What men?"
"Two guys came in here today. They said they were here to check the place out. They scared us all half to death."
"I'm sorry Freddy."
His voice calmed, "I don't want an apology, I want you to get over yourself." Then, Freddy stormed out.
A few moments later Foxy scooted closer to the curtain to grab his hook. He began to put it back on when he heard, "Foxy?"
Chica stood at the curtain, her wings behind her back. "C'mere." She walked over to him.
"Did those guys scare you too?"
He knew he would have to lie, "Aye lass. Though don't let those land lovers get to ya. Soon you'll be able to see lot's of those little children again."
"I don't think I like people much anymore."
Foxy placed his paw on her shoulder, "Not all men be like that. Even you were the one to tell me all those lovely stories of before we closed down."
"I guess you're right. Do you wanna come to the kitchen with me? I was gonna try to make a pizza again."
Foxy smiled, "I'd love to."
