5: Engagement!

Alesha's POV:

"I don't understand what's wrong with Zaydeer. He is perfect in every way his black hair broad shoulders light brown eyes-" I was going on about Zaydeer when Tanya comes and interrupts me.

"You know your not describing Zaydeer so looking at the picture Zaydeer has dark brown hair and hazel eyes muscular but not that muscular, the person you were describing was someone else. Who is much better then Zaydeer and that's Faisal!" She says nudging me

"What are you on about? I'm getting married to Zaydeer not Faisal. It's like you hate Zaydeer but love Faisal why? Tell me why?" I say to her

"You know I don't know why I don't like him all I know Faisal is much better than that dickhead your getting engaged to in two days!" When Tanya said that she stormed off leaving me behind. When she left me, I don't know why I started to cry. I cried so bad I fell asleep. I woke up and I had decided to change my perfect purple dress to a really nice purple elegant lengha. It was heart breaking but this dress was nice. So I'm ok! I woke up and the day went fast I cried again. Tanya was avoiding me hurting me even more I missed her even though we were in the same house I wasn't seeing her enough .

My engagement is today, the make up artist came and done my make up so beautifully. Before the make up artist came, Tanya came and said sorry for acting like that and woke me up. She wore a pink and beige salwar kameez, she had her make up done by the professionals and looked stunning Mashallah.

When I looked in the mirror I was looking in the mirror. My mum came in and started to cry!

"Oh my baby is looking so gorgeous" I wiped her tears and looked at my mum she was wearing a pink saree with a beige border she was looking so young!

"Aww amma don't cry do you want me to cry and ruin my make up!" I said to her she hugged me and said to hurry up. I was already ready so I went downstairs and go up to my dad and hugged him he patted my head and kissed my forehead. I started to walk to Zakir Bhai and Faisal they were talking about something serious. Bhaiya noticed me standing there and hugged me.

"You're looking gooooood little sister but someone is looking better" Zakir Bhai said with a smirk

"Who" I said smiling

"Me duh who else could look so good" he said pulling my hand messing around with my pink and purple with green in between bangles.

"What I'm not looking good" I pout

"If you remember I said you look good but not better than me, also Zaydeer looks good too" I blushed then I asked what about Faisal and started to smile, than I realised I asked about Faisal! I look up and see Zakir Bhai play fighting with Faisal who was looking so nice I hope Zaydeer will look like Faisal not that he is not that good looking. Good thing is that Zakir Bhai did not here me! Soon it was time to leave for the hall.

Faisal Karim's POV:

It was Alesha's engagement and I was wearing a royal blue sherwani with a purple scarf thing with it. When I seen Alesha I was gobsmacked she looked beautiful. But than I looked away and was listening to Alesha and Zakir's conversation and what I heard just shocked me but I ignored it as a mistake.

Zakir: you look goood little sister but someone is looking better.

Alesha: who

Zakir: me duh who else could look so good.

I smiled and at this point the face Alesha had on her face was amazing with a pout and everything

Zakir: if you remember I said you looked good but not better than me, also Zaydeer looks good.

Whenever I hear his name my blood boils I don't know if he is good enough for Alesha and I think Tanya agrees with me.

Alesha: what about Faisal, she even smiled talking about me. But I ignored it, it was hardly a mutter.

It was time to go to the hall and get the engagement done. We went outside and Zakir took uncle and auntie and some of his relative in his car. I have to take the beautiful Alesha and Tanya, with some of Zakir's cousins. Alesha was sitting next to me at the front.

"You look quite handsome if I do say so myself" she says quietly and blushes. I could make her blush, wow why I'm I getting happy!

"Thank you, you do too!" I says smiling at my response then I realised what said when Alesha starts to laugh! I never felt so embarrassed that to, to a girl.

"Thank you (laugh)" she said looking back at her sister and cousins smiling.

"God I can't believe I said to a girl that's she is handsome! By the way your not handsome your looking beautiful..." I say I look at her from the corner she blushes and I start to smile.

"For um Zaydeer" I say I look at her and her smile disappears and she looks out the window. That's strange!

I carry on driving, I've been driving for about 10 minutes and by the looks of it will reach the hall in another 20minutes.

"Uhum I wanna go maan it's so long this salwar it's getting on my nerves and I'm soooo hungry are you hungry Maria? Are you hungry Zayn? I am" she says looking at her cousins. Tanya is so weird at times.

" no I'm not hungry I ate at yours" Maria replies

"Eh I'm hungry as I could eat a horse can't wait to have some nice food there and the cake" Zayn who is about the same age as Tanya and Maria.

Alesha's POV:

I was looking out the window listening to Tanya going on about how hungry she is to Maria and Zayn who are 16, there're twins by the way they are my uncles children. The car stops and I look to see we are at the hall my door opens and Faisal gives me his hand and helps me get up. I felt all tingly but that's what happens if your getting engaged! I went in the hall it was decorated with specks of pink and purple very girly and it looked beautiful.

When I was walking so many people were flashing their cameras and phones taking pictures of me walking beside my brother. I hears a lot of Mashallahs and wows. I look up and see Zaydeer looking nice. He was wearing a purples suit with a pink tie to match my dress but I think a royal blue sherwani would have looked nice.

I went up the stage and Zaydeer smiled at me and whispered why I didn't wear the dress he bought but then said I looked more beautiful in this than I would do in any other dress! I was blushing like mad.

We ate and danced it was now time for the rings. He already put a ring in me but he put a different ring that was little diamonds with a huge diamond in the middle. When Zaydeer put the ring through my he kissed it and then kissed my cheeks and them the flashing if the cameras were going crazy. I put the ring on his fingers and he whispered...

"I'm i not going to get a kiss or anything!" With a smirk on his face. I looked at him in shock.

"You dog no you are not!" I said looking the other way angry. Someone tapped me on my shoulders it was the camera man and lady saying to kiss his cheeks!

"No please I don't want too" they kept on begging me and Zaydeer wasn't helping but just laughing at me. My mum came up and asked me what's wrong I told her what they were trying to make me do and she just smiled and said do it! I got so nervous when Zaydeer wasn't looking I kissed him on the cheeks. He looked so surprised I ended up laughing. I cut the cake and fed him and he bit my fingers, he tried to feed me and I tried to take as little as i can. We were finished feeding everyone and it was soon time to go and take this make up off. My wedding was decided to be in 6 weeks! Which will go flying!
