It's sad but that's life. When a hamster is old or sick its bound to happen. After a hamster dies its important to thoroughly clean EVERYTHING that your hamster has come in contact with so that if you get another hamster it won't get sick from it. Put on a plastic glove and scoop out the hamster and put it a small box with a little bedding and berry somewhere of your choice.
Clean everything and dump any OPEN bag of previously used bedding in to the trash. Here are the videos I reccomend
