You and Scarlett had been best friends since you both started middle school. She'd always let you borrow her things and you'd always find a way to make her smile.
You loved seeing her smile. The only way you could describe her happiness was comparing it to the sun, and even that wasn't enough. Although you were interested in her, she never seemed to notice you as more than a friend. Thus she started to date Zion, your other best friend.
She seemed happy and that's all you cared about. And despite being friends you threatened to whoop Zion's ass if he made your sunshine upset, and that's exactly what you were going to do.
On this particular Saturday morning Scarlett became single due to Zion breaking up with her. After 4 years of dating her he finally had the courage to say it was over.
At this particular time, 12:37 P.M., you were off at the track to find a certain redhead. On your hike you bumped into Jay and Ethan, which you would've never guessed were friends, and told them about the situation.
Much to your surprise they agreed to help so off you went looking like the Queen Bee herself, but with e/c eyes, h/c hair, a determined look on your face, and an Ethan and Jay on your tail, which was funny considering Jay was tripping over his feet and Ethan had to catch him every now and then. Let's just say Scarlett would be proud.
And you would make sure of it.
