Piper's feet were freezing on the hardwood floors as she walked down the hallway towards the stairs, Marshall at her heels. She appreciated the dogs clinginess.
She slowly made it down the stairs, still sore as could be. Once she reached the bottom, two other dogs greeted her.
"Oh hi." She said with a smile as she pet them. They wiggled and danced around her, obviously very happy to meet her.
Tyler heard her soft voice and turned his head from the TV in the living room, watching her pet the dogs as she sat on the bottom step of the stairs. He began to study her. Her long blonde hair was wavy and fell to the middle of her back and her eyes were hazel. They were softer now than they were last night. Even though she was sitting, he could tell she was tall. Her tight top from last night clung to her and her skirt hugged her body as she stood.
"Gerry, Cash... leave her alone." Tyler said standing and correcting the dogs who were still dancing around her. Piper smiled down at them again.
"Which one's which?" Piper asked.
"Gerry's the puppy and Cash is the fat black one." Tyler said as he walked towards them. Piper laughed a little.
"He's not that fat..." She said petting Cash's head.
"Well he's on a diet, maybe he lost some weight. Huh bud?" He said as Cash waddled over to him to be pet.
"Feeling any better?" Tyler asked her. Piper nodded as she felt her phone vibrate in the back pocket of her skirt. It was Josie.
"Hey..." Piper said hesitantly as she answered, knowing she had completely forgot to tell Josie what had happened.
"WHERE ARE YOU?!" Josie screamed. Piper pulled the phone away from her ear a little.
"Um... long story..." Piper started.
"Who's the guy?" She asked. Piper rolled her eyes.
"There's no guy..." Piper said as she eyed Tyler who was now sitting on the arm rest of the couch. He raised his eyebrows at her remark causing Piper to smile and roll her eyes again.
"Then where are you? Are you okay?" Josie asked. Piper stepped out of the living room and explained what had happened the night before, causing Josie to freak out. Piper assured her she was fine and told her about Tyler.
"Wait... Tyler who?" She asked.
"Um... Seguin." Piper stated, knowing Josie would probably start giving her tips on how to get the NHL athlete into bed.
"Wait, what the fuck? You're at Tyler Seguin's house? Dude, I know him... I met him in Cabo. He's one of Mike's friends."
"Really?" Piper asked. Josie had dated Mike Stud in the past and lets just say things hadn't ended very well.
"Yeah, he's a nice guy. Kind of a man whore, but what pro athlete isn't?" She said. Piper agreed with her.
"Anyway, how was Mark? Any good?" Piper asked.
"Terrible. I wasn't even close to drunk enough for sex that bad." Josie said casually. Piper laughed.
"Don't try and change the subject. Did anything happen with Tyler? Or do you think anything's going to happen with Tyler?" She asked.
"No, I don't even know the guy. He was just being nice." Piper said quietly, not wanting Tyler to hear her.
"So? He's not exactly ugly, Pipes. But he does have a lot of girls hanging around him. Like, at all times so now might be your chance."
