five teenagers, in the summer before senior year of high school, decide to take a trip to a tropical island off the coast of florida. not quite the bahamas, but it'll do. no parental supervision. just them, for a month, and the open ocean.

they came to mess around, only to discover that something peculiar lies in the deep, dark blue...

underneath the waves, a civilization of mermaids exists. they have sworn off speaking with humans due to a tragic accident in their past...except for five troublemaking young mermaids.
