We called ourselves The STL. We, by no mean, are the largest guild, but we arent small either. We knew that we can work together and get past most things. It definently helped that everyone were about the same level as well. Obviously we weren't all the same exact level, but we were about 0-2 levels apart from each other.
We felt fairly confident now that we had a guild. We started to do a bit more dangerous things such as dungeons. Like before, we had some close calls, but nothing we didnt recover from.
At this point, I didn't know how much time had passed since we'd been trapped here, but I didn't much care anymore. I was honestly enjoying myself! The guild as a whole seemed to be in better mood too.
One day, I noticed Ty acting strange. He would avoid me and try to act like I didn't exist. Even weirder, W was acting the same way to E. I asked her if she knew what was going on with our boyfriends, but she was just as confused as me. We went to the others and tried to pry them of information, but they didn't say anything.
This went on for a few days, worrying the two of us quite a bit. Luckily the boys didnt kick us out of our rooms at night, but they still refused to speak or acknowledge us. However, after those few days, the two went missing.
E and I searched all over the guildhall, which honestly bought the boys more time. After a while, P came up to us and told us to follow him. We knew he was going to lead us to Ty and W.
In the distance, we saw the two...dressed in a suit and tie. E and I were both confused and suspicious, so we slowed down. The two closed the distance between us and them and handed us flowers.
Just as we suspected, the two got down on their knees and, well, proposed to us. Granted, I was only 18, but we kind of figured we'd be in this game for a while so why not?
We spent a few months planning out how this would go. Since I wanted E to be my maid of honor and she wanted the same with me, we decided to have the two weddings on separate days.
Soon the day arrived when E would be married. She got this gorgeous dress and I got a semi-matching dress for maid of honor. The wedding went smoothly md we had a fairly tame reception since Eriks didnt want anything too wild.
A week later was me and Ty's wedding. The wedding was just as we planned. E by my side while P was at Ty's. The reception, needless to say, was wild. There was obviously dancing, but most of the music was dubstep or videogame related. We had a bunch of different activities that the boys could goof around with.
The one thing that was interesting about being married that E didnt mention, probably because she didnt notice either, was that Ty and I now had a shared invintories. I mean, I had my own inventory, and he had his own, but we both had access to each other's.
Anyway, other than the fact that the guild had two new marriages, the guild ran just like it usually did! We would go on our own little adventures and have celebratory dinners after the big quests we went on!
After some time, one of the boys suggested that we explore the dungeon that would lead to the next floor. We all felt confident with our levels, so we decided that we'd give it a shot. Its not like wed actually try the boss room, but if we found it, we would definently let better equipped guilds know the directions.
As we entered the dungeon, we got in our usual "order" with P in the front, Ty and I in the back, and everyone else in between. We did it this way since P is more of a navigator than the others and Th liked being in the back so he has a full view of his guild to protect them.
It was definently more difficult for the people more in the back to fight off creatures in our way, but Ty and I found a good way to combat that. We would go out at night and "train" with each other.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when P called out that he spotted something interesting. By and I wemt up front to see what was going on. It was a weird virtical indent in the wall leading from the ceiling that would have been hard to spot if it weren't P. P traced his finger along the indent until he pressed in what seemed to be a hidden button.
The indent started to slowly open revealing a large, decorated room. We knew it wasnt the boss itself, but it was definently some kind of hidden mini-boss room. There was a treasure chest at the end of the room, which definently intrigued the majority of the guild.
We took a vote as to whether we would go inside and try it or not. The majority decided to go in since mini bosses tend to be lower leveled than the main boss, and we werent ha ing troubles with the creatures, so the mini boss should be a breeze!
We got back into our order and got ready to go inside. The whole time i had a bad feeling about this room, but Ty assured me that we'd be fine. That still didn't stop my fear though. P signaled that they were heading in, so there everyone went. Th and I got to the entrance, but I hesitated.
Ty turned to me and laughed when he saw I stopped. He went to offer his hand...but something stopped him. He frowned as he put his hand against the space between us and I saw a sort of ripple. There was an invisible wall. I tried to go in, hopping it was only one sided, but I was wrong. Ty shood his head and told me not to worry and they they will be out in no time.
Ty was interrupted by a scream behind him. We watched in horror as W's Hp dropped to zero...and his body disintagrate. E dropped to her knees, obviously in shock. What killed him though, was the mini boss. It was this giant, two-headed snake. Ty gave me another reassurance before rushing over to help. I sat there helpless as I watched them fight.
The battle, however, was a losing one. I watched as my friends dropped one by one. E didnt even fight back before the snake's tail hit her, throwing her to the wall and killing her. Ty let a call as he watched P get eaten alive.
Ty, finally realizing he wasnt going to survive, rushed back to me. By now I was a sobbing mess. I was kneeling on the floor, pressed up against the invisible wall. He knelt down in front of me.
"Sabrina...I'm sorry about all of this. You know as well as I do that I'm not making it out of here. But know, I love you more than anything in the world. Take care of the guild hall for me, will you?" Ty mentioned. I choked slightly as I nodded softly.
"I...I love you too!" I muttered out. Ty smiled at me and put his hand against the wall where mine was. We both glanced as we saw the last person die and the snake focusing on Ty. I shook my head and started to pleade for him not to leave me, even though I knew it wasnt up to him. Ty whispered one last "I love you" before being pulled away by the snake. He was thrown into the air before landing right into the snakes mouth. A moment later, a notification popped up in front of me.
Ty has been killed. You have been promoted to guild leader.
