ch. 53

This ch is nonsense, ...

1st Door

As they enter, they fell down on a cold surface. Darkness and coldness were surrounding them.

"Why is it so cold in here...hey, don't touch me, Ming."

"What...I didn't touch you, P'Kit...hey...don't touch me, P'Forth."

"Are you crazy? I was the last one enter and I walk behind Beam."

"Are you?" Beam ask Forth.

"Yes...hey, don't touch me, Beam."

"What...I didn't...you the one who touch..."Beam immediately silent as he noticed something.

"Guys, I think something else is touching."

"What...what..." Kit asks nervously makings Ming nervous too.

"P'Kit....P'Kit..."

"Don't shouts, both of you." Beam shout back.

"Beam..." Forth calmly called Beam's name.

"You also shouting."

"Damn it..." Beam curse himself before continuing.

"Don't move and keep your voice low."

"Ok..." Everyone answers with the lowest voice they can.

"Pha, are you there?" Beam ask.

"..."

"Pha..."

"..."

"I don't think he with us, P'Beam."

"Nonsense, we enter together."

"Well, he enters first and a bit early than us."

"Damn it, only a few minutes past. What can happen to him?"

"P'Beam, what now?"

"I don't know?"

"Aw... why didn't you ask us to silent and not move."

"I just think that was the best thing to do."

"P'Beam..."

"He doesn't know everything, Ming." Forth said before Ming can say anything else.

"Kit, any suggestion?"

"..."

"Kit..." Beam starting to feel worried.

"P'Kit...P'Kit...P'Kit..." Ming shouting like a mad person.

"Don't speak and move slowly without moving. Move towards my voice." Pha's voice can be heard vividly by Beam and Forth.

Understand what behind Pha words, they did exactly as he says. Moving slowly without moving at all. It takes a while for both of them to reach Pha.

Meanwhile...

"P'Kit....P'Kit...no...P'Kit..." Ming stop calling out Kit name when he starting to cough heavily.

"Damn it, keep quiet Ming..." Kit shout but Ming can't hear at all because the cold wind covers his ears, choking him slowly, coldly.

"Ming..." Kit was about to move to saved Ming before Phana cover his mouth.

"Damn it Kit. You making the cold wind thicker."

"But..."

"With his condition, I don't think N'Ming can calm down." Forth whisper.

"Who will be calm knowing they love one might in danger." Beam answer also in whispering.

"Damn it, this nong..." Pha knows a few ways to help Ming but he wants the best way so all of them not in more danger.

'There is no choice but to do the last option.' Pha thinks.

"Hold each other arm."

They quickly follow Pha instructions.

"Forth, I need you to open this door when I say 'now' and run quickly through it and drag us together. Beam quickly closed the door right after Ming out from here and seal it for safety. Make sure the damn wind won't flow out from this room."

Taken they understand with his instructions, Pha points his wand up and randomly points his wand at the different direction of Ming standing.

"Incendio..." The fire coming out from the tip of Pha's wand and spread it straight towards the random area he pointing. [Fire-making spell]

The fire causes the winds which covering Ming moving living him fall on the ground, chasing the thought the warm trail left by the fire. Not losing the change, Pha quickly cast one after another spell.

"Immobulus..." Pha spell makes Ming freeze.

"Locomotor..." Frozen Ming levitates a few inches from the ground and moves fast towards Pha following the move of Pha's wand. Aware of Ming movement, the wind quickly follows him.

"Now..."

"Aberto..." At the same time, Pha get hold Ming and drag him together with them.

"Colloportus..." The door behind them closed and seal firmly. The next time to open this door only the caster who cast the spell can open it.

Kit POV

"P'...cough...P'...cough..." Ming continues to coughing even after being unfrozen by Pha.

"Ming..." I kneeled beside him.

Once he sees my face, he takes me into his embrace. It's cold and the colder embrace I haves from him.

"Are you ok?"

"I'm alright as long you're." He said between his coughs.

I tightened my hug in hoping my warm can warming him.

"What was that Pha?" Beam ask.

"That was the 'cold wind'. Am I right,  Pha?"

Pha nodded.

"Cold wind?" Ming has a confusing face.

"Some kind of magic or curse?" He asks again.

"Basically cold wind is cold wind. It was originally from the forbidden forest. It was created naturally by the effect of the collection of wrongful soul's deaths in the forest. This is why the forbidden forest was one of a dangerous place in the magic world."

"The more soul trap there, the colder the wind there. That was tha after effect of it." Forth adds.

"How did 'it' end up here in Wayo's house?"

"How should I know, Ming. There are so many possibilities."

"Such as?"

"Wayo's father keeps them for some reason or the dark wizard uses it to trap us until death."

"Can it do that, P'Kit?"

"The wind?"

Ming nodded.

"Do what?"

"Kill us?"

I didn't answer him but stand and try to walk away from him.

"P'Kit?" He captures my hand.

"I almost lost you, did I?"

"P'Kit..."

I can still feel it. The cold skin of him on my wrist.

"Let just move on."

I push the second door and walking through it.
