So basically things with virtue are gonna change starting today. Each ark will be narrated by a different character. This ark is being narrated by Scott. I'll let you guys know when the narrator/ark switches.
______________________________The place was filled with tranquility...it was silent aside from the irksome sound of Lydia gnawing down into the thick piece of hubba bubba gum in her mouth. She would chew it at least 10 times and then pop the gum. None of us said anything because after us all turning to look at her the chewing and popping came to a halt. We figured that she was done; until wait...another 10 second chew followed by a loud disturbing POP!
"Will you stop that Already?" Malia turned to scold the red head.
"Sorry" Lydia apologized taking the wad of gum out of her mouth only to stick it behind her ear saving it for later. "What?" She asked after spotting Liam staring at her with a repugnant look on his face.
"Frank, What about me?" I asked my uncle since he still hadn't responded to my question from before.
He didn't say anything. He simply stood from his chair that he had been sitting in since he got here and walked over to the other end of the room. Suddenly we all found ourselves watching him like a hawk as he started to hang something up on the wall.
"Get up there" Frank instructed me once he was done.
"What? Why?" I asked back.
"You wanted to know what I had for you so get up there" he repeated himself to me.
Uncle Frank was the kind of person that hated repeating himself so I did what I was told. Of course I did; why wouldn't I? From the looks of it he could easily take me and everyone else in the house out. Including his own brother. After climbing up on the post Frank took both my legs and arms and began tying them to the machine.
"This is getting fifty shades weird" Stiles uttered while he and the others watched.
Allison and Emily were the only ones who didn't give Frank and me their undivided attention. They couldn't. Allison was trapped inside of the light canal that Frank and Elaina referred to as the cube. And Emily...well Emily was still singeing in the steaming hot water that he forced her to get into. She cried a few times but myself and everyone else in the warehouse could tell that she was trying to stop herself from sweating. It would be best if she didn't sweat. If she did Frank would make the water even hotter than it already was and that wouldn't be good.
"What's the point of this?" I questioned the older man.
"The point is for you to survive" Frank answered. "The machine pulls your limbs to extreme measures and you can either continue to duplicate or you can say your goodbyes now because that thing will tear you in half" he blatantly said popping another one of his jalapeño spice chips into his mouth while pressing down on the big green start button connected to the machine.
Immediately the bungees that were connected to each of my limbs started to pull. The machine was set to the highest speed which meant that I had to move quickly. It must've been one of my survival instincts because as soon as I felt the first tug I instantly followed his instructions. I duplicated. Although I was busy with trying not to get ripped in half I watched as Frank turned around stopping in the direction of the living room.
"Is she joking?" He asked now witnessing Mona sitting on the sofa watching the latest episode of her favorite tv series The Vampire Chronicles. "HEY!" He shouted but either she didn't hear him or she was just ignoring him.
Mona would always zone out while she was focused on her shows; technically while she was focused on anything actually. There would be times where mom or dad would call her but she would be too concentrated to answer. Mom officially enforced the raven haired girl to spend family time with the family instead of up in her room. I guess we'll see how that works out.
