Eliza's POV
I have just turned 10 and I have started my fighting skills with my Uncle Jace, Aunt Izzy, Aunt Clary, and my Dad, While since I was 4 I started working with My Papa on my Magic. One day I am training with my Dad when he sees I have a sad look on my face after we had been working on my fighting skills all day.
Dad: Great job baby girl
Me: Thanks Dad
Dad: Are you okay, it looks like something is wrong
Me: I am fine
Dad thinks for a second looking around seeing that there are a lot of Shadowhunters looking at me.
Dad: Come with me sweetheart
Me: Okay
Dad and I walk down the hallway from the training room to his room at the Institute. We walk into his room and he closes the door and we sit on the bed.
Dad: Alright, tell me what is going on sweetheart
Me: Okay, I feel like I don't fit in here
Dad: What do you mean you don't feel like you fit in
Me: When I am training or just hanging with you or aunt Izzy & Clary or Uncle Jace I get strange looks from fellow Shadowhunters
Dad: Why do you think that
Me: Well the looks and the way they stare at me
Dad: Hey look at me
I look up at my dad with tears in my eyes.
Dad: I don't want you to think like that because you are special
Me: What do you mean
Dad: You are the only Shadowhunter in hundreds of years that is half Shadowhunter, half Warlock which means you are able to do a lot more things than the rest of us can
Me: I guess so
Dad: Come here
Dad pulls me into a hug and kisses my head.
Dad: Why don't you go get changed and we can head home
Me: Okay
I head out of my Dads room and head to my room to get changed so we can head home.
Alec's POV
Me: Why don't you go get changed and we can head home
Eliza: Okay
Eliza head out of my room and head to her room to get changed so we can head home. After Eliza heads into her room my sister Isabelle comes in.
Izzy: Hey Alec
Me: Hey Iz, what's up
Izzy: Inquisitor Penhallow sent you some paperwork from you
Me: Okay, can you please leave it on my desk, I am gonna take Eliza home
Izzy: Sure
Me: Thanks
Izzy: Oh how is Eliza's training going
Me: Actually she is above the average of where a girl her age should be
Izzy: That's good
Eliza: Alright I am ready
Me: Alright let's go, see ya, Izzy
Izzy: Bye Alec, Bye Eliza
Eliza and I walk back home. Right before we get home Magnus is just finishing up a client. When we get home Magnus comes out of his office and Eliza runs over and gives Magnus a hug.
Magnus: Hi baby girl
Eliza: Hi Papa
Magnus: How was training with Dad
Eliza: Fine
Magnus: Alright, go get a shower and get ready for bed okay
Eliza: Okay
Magnus's POV
Eliza and Alec walk back home. Right before they get home I am just finishing up a client. When they get home I come out of my office and Eliza runs over and gives me a hug.
Me: Hi baby girl
Eliza: Hi Papa
Me: How was training with Dad
Eliza: Fine
Me: Alright, go get a shower and get ready for bed okay
Eliza: Okay
Eliza heads to get a shower. While Eliza is getting a shower Alec and I sit on the couch.
Me: So what happened today, she wasn't like herself today
Alec: She thinks she doesn't fit in with everyone else
Me: Oh boy, So what happened
Alec: I was able to talk with her and tell her that she was special and that was able to get her thoughts calmed down
Me: That's good, let's go tell her goodnight
Alec: Alright
Alec and I head into Eliza bedroom to tell her goodnight.
Me: Hey baby girl
Eliza: Hey
Alec: Just wanted to tell you goodnight
Me: Goodnight Sweetheart
Eliza: Goodnight Papa, Goodnight Daddy
Alec and I head into our bedroom which is on the other side of the apartment, tonight is the first time in a few weeks that we are able to be together and just be able to cuddle together.
