Eliza's POV
Today was the day that I was getting tested to see if I am able to get my Angelic Rune one of the most important runes of all the Shadowhunter runes and my entire family from my daddy and papa to my grandma and grandpa is here to support me. Right now I am super nervous and my family can see it.
Dad: Honey, are you okay
Me: I am just nervous
Izzy: We understand honey
Maryse: Yeah, Your Dad and Aunt Izzy were nervous wrecks when they went in for their rune trial
Me: Really
Robert: Yes, especially your dad
Dad: Okay, we don't need to talk about that right now, but don't worry we are here for you
Inquisitor Penhallow: Elizabeth Lightwood-Bane, are you ready for your rune trial
Me: Yes ma'am
Inquisitor Penhallow: Then let's go
Inquisitor Penhallow's POV
Today I am doing a rune trial for Elizabeth Lightwood-Bane she is the daughter of the Head of the New York Institute and the High Warlock of Brooklyn. Me, my husband, and 2 of the members of the council arrive at the New York Institute to get her trail done.
Me: Elizabeth Lightwood-Bane, are you ready for your rune trial
Eliza: Yes ma'am
Me: Then let's go
I take Eliza to the training room to see her in action. Her entire family is also in the training room as well to watch her.
Me: Alright, Elizabeth first you are going to fight with Council Chaudhury
Eliza: Alright
Eliza and Council Nasreen Chaudhury who is the best fighter on the council start to fight to see that she has some skill.
Alec's POV
Me, Magnus, and my entire family are in the training room watching Eliza doing her rune trial.
Inquisitor Penhallow: Alright, Elizabeth first you are going to fight with Council Chaudhury
Eliza: Alright
Me and Izzy: Oh boy
Magnus: What's wrong
Me: Council Chaudhury is the best fighter on the council
Izzy: She knocked out one boy that was having a rune trial and she broke his arm and it took 4 weeks to heal even with a healing rune.
Jace: Also nobody has beat her during a rune trial
Magnus: Oh boy
Jace: Let's hope nothing bad happens
Eliza and Council Nasreen Chaudhury start to fight.
*5 Minutes Later*
After five minutes of Eliza and Nasreen fighting they finally finish and instead of Nasreen winning Eliza actually beat her.
Inquisitor Penhallow: Very good Elizabeth, next you are to grab a weapon and hit each target as close to the center as you can
Eliza: Alright
Inquisitor Penhallow places 2 different weapon bunches which have 5 of the same weapon on the table in front of Eliza. There are a bunch of knives and a bow and 5 arrows, Eliza goes for the bow and arrows and aims them at the target.
