*Two Weeks Later*
Alec's POV
It's been two weeks since Eliza was approved for her rune ceremony and it is finally time for her to get her first rune, both Magnus and I are very happy for our baby girl. We all were up late last night for her party. It is now two hours before she has to be at the Institute for her ceremony and she is getting a shower and is getting dressed, while Magnus and I are waiting for her to come out of the room we are talking about the baby.
Me: So how are you feeling, you look paler than normal
Magnus: It's probably just the baby, I mean I was up sick last night so maybe it is just that
Me: Let's hope so I don't want something to happen to either of you
Magnus: I promise nothing is gonna happen to either of us, if I still don't feel good after her rune ceremony I will call my doctor to see if he can fit me in
Me: Alright, just make sure I know if anything is wrong cause I don't want to end up taking the heat from your doctor and my family for not knowing what is wrong
Magnus: I promise i will let you know
Me: Good
*20 Minutes Later*
After 20 minutes I hear the shower shut off and I hear Eliza heading into her room to get dressed. Once Eliza finishes getting dressed she comes into mine and Magnus's bedroom. She enters the room in a solid light blue dress normally female Shadowhunters would wear a silver colored dress when it comes to their Rune ceremony but because Eliza is part shadowhunter part warlock an exception was made to include both sides of her species.
Magnus: Hi baby girl
Eliza: Hi papa
Me: You ready for your Rune Ceremony
Eliza: Yeah, but i am kinda nervous
Me: It's totally normal for you to be nervous, but you have done so much to prove that you deserve this
Eliza: Thanks daddy, that makes me feel a lot better
Magnus: Good, now why don't you and your father head over to the Institute and meet up with the rest of your family before your ceremony
Eliza: Aren't you gonna come with us
Magnus: I am but, I need to make a phone call before I head over
Me: Well then we will wait for you
Magnus: Alright, but I don't want you guys to be late
Eliza: We will be fine papa
Magnus: Alright why don't you wait for me in the living room
Me: Alright, come on
Eliza and I head out into the living room as Magnus picks up his phone to make a phone call.
Magnus's POV
Once Alexander and Eliza leave the bedroom, I end up picking up my cell phone and calls my doctor because I know for a fact that I need to be seen as soon as possible. I had gotten an actual OBGYN for this pregnancy so I could actually get more information throughout my pregnancy and if something happened they could tell me what to do.
Doctor's Office: Hi Magnus what can i do for you today
Me: Hi doctor, I was kinda hoping I could get an appointment with the doctor this afternoon, something has been off with this pregnancy and my husband is getting very considered about me
