Win it all or lose everything (Damijon)

Catch some waves? Or catch feelings?

As I felt the wave carry Jonathan and I, couldn't help but notice the smile plastered on Jon's face. He looked at peace and was enjoying himself. I felt a minor smile gently spread across my face "Watch this, Jonny Boy" I said as I do a hand stand on my board keeping balance "Cool! But not as cool as this!" I carefully put my feet back down on my board looking at Jon to see what he had in store "Can you do... this?!" He does a hand stand but balancing on one arm, I playfully roll my eyes "Impressive. Bet you can't do this!" I say sheepishly "Do what?" He moves a little closer to me "Oh, just... this!" I push him off his board "Ah!- Woah!" I start to laugh but realize the wave was getting smaller and smaller, my eyes widen. I quickly jump off my board into the water. As the wave grazes past me I swim up to the surface for air. I look around and realize that Jon was nowhere to be seen "Kent? Kent?! Jonathan!" I start to feel panic as I swim around in a circle to see if I could see Jon "Please. Don't be hurt-!" I felt my foot be tug on and felt my body be pulled under water. I quickly open my eyes under water and see Jon there smiling but then swims up to the surface as I do the same thing. Jon gasps for air as he reaches the surface "Pay back for pushing me off my board" I roll my eyes playfully -tt- "You're so going to pay for that, Kent!" His eyes widen and he starts to swim to shore with his board "No thanks! I choose life!" I snort "Did you just quote Ice Age?!" Jon snickers "Maybe I did!" We we're close to shore and Jon splashes water at my face "Big mistake" I leap from my board to Jon's board taking him down with me into the water "Dam!-"

It was to late, he was under water.

Jon quickly raises his head to the surface "That was cruel, Dami!" I raise a brow playfully "Dami? Don't call me that" i splash water at him "Hey! You were the one to call me Jonny Boy" Jon raises his arm to splash me but his shirt moves a little and I notice something that shatters my heart. I quickly go towards Jon and grab his wrist before he could splash me "W-what are you doing, Damian?" I reach around his collar and move his shirt a little "W-why-Who- what is this?" Jon looks to wear I touched he stumbled back a little "t-this is from the mission the other day." I felt my jaw tighten "That's an injury and not just any  kind of injury but a burn mark." Jon scratches the back of his neck "I accidentally burnt myself last night" Jon laughs cautiously "That's a burn from a cigarette, Jonathan." Jon's eyes widen and he rests his hand on his arm while looking away "Damian, it's nothing really." I walk up to Jonathan staring at the burn mark while putting my hands on his shoulders "Jonathan. Who did this to you?" Jon looks away "I-... Can't say anything," I felt my chest was going through emotional pain "But I swear I'm oka-" I pull Jonathan into a hug,  my mouth was close to Jonathan's ear so whispered "Kent, I don't know who did this to you but I want you to know that I'm here for you." I let go of Jon and look at him and realize his eyes seemed to have Welled up "Thank you, Damian." I smile "Anytime, Kent."

I don't know who did this to you, Jonathan. I swear I'll find the bastard who did it and kill them slowly making them wish they were never born.

Jonathan walks to the shore "Damian, I have something to tell you. It's nothing huge just something I want to get off my chest." I look at Jon walking alongside with him "What is it?" I ask eager to know what he had to say "I don't know how long I've been feeling this emotion but I have for a long time. It happens every time I'm with you and around you, or even when I'm thinking about you." I felt my stomach flutter with butterflies, he turns to me and smiles.

God, that damn smile...

Then all my butterflies turn into a whole damn zoo wondering what Jon was trying to tell me "The thing is..." everyone was quietly listening in on their "Secret" conversation. Starfire was listening while trying to surprise her emotions(Starfire is literally the leader of the Damijon fandom). Raven was wearing sunglasses but you could see the small brim smile(And of course, Raven is literally the one who created the Damijon fandom). The rest of the titans were just listening knowing what was about to happen. Jon coughs "I think I might like y-" someone interrupts Jonathan during mid sentence "Dami-Kun! I haven't seen you in forever!" Some girl runs up to the two and hugs me at random. The Titans smiles slowly turn into frowns

THE F*CK IS THIS?!

They all think unison while they all walk to the trio "My-My, who is this, Damian?" Starfire says while looking at the girl who was still hugging Damian. -tt- I like to believe I must of looked very uncomfortable while trying to push the girl away "Everyone, this is Dakota..." Jon looked away noticing the girl was snuggling Damian while eyeing up Jonathan "Dami-Kun? Who are... your Friends?" I sigh "This is Kori, Grayson, Raven, Jaime, Garfield, and... Jonatha-" everyone realized Jon wasn't around or nowhere to be seen "Kent?" I could see Jonathan walking towards the cars "Kent!" I quickly run to Jonathan "Where are you going?" I could easily tell that Jon forced a smile "Nothing! I just need to go home and get ready for the Party tonight." I sigh "Kent, What was it you wanted to tell me?" Jon looks away "Nothing really, well not now." Jon walks off with his stuff towards Samuel's car. I start to walk back to the others feeling guilt for no apparent reason?

What was it he wanted to tell me?
