Chapter 5

~Teresa's POV~

The sun was shining through the window and there was banging at my bedroom door.

"Who is it?"

There was no answer. They started banging again. I sighed and got out of bed and opened the door. It was my parents.

"What's with all the banging? We all have hangovers."

"Breakfast is done and there is aspirin and water on the table downstairs. Change and come downstairs."

"Ok." I shut the door. Everyone was groaning.

"Who was that?"

"My parents they told me breakfast is ready and they have aspirin and water downstairs for us. So let's change and head downstairs." They nodded and got up. I went to my dresser and grabbed jean shorts and a white tube top. I grabbed my sandals.

The girls looked at me.

"You look cute."

"Thank you. We should match."

"We don't have that outfit."

"I have jean shorts and tube tops if you want to wear them."

"Yea we can."

I grabbed the matching jeans and tube tops and handed them out. They got dressed and put on our matching sandals. I brushed my hair and left it down. They brushed their hair and left them down. We grabbed our hoops and necklaces and put them on. I went to turn my phone on but it wouldn't come on.

"Shit!"

"What?"

"We forgot to charge our phones last night."

"Damn it."

We grabbed our chargers and phones and went downstairs. We plugged our phones in and went and sat at the table. We ate breakfast and took our aspirin and drunk the water. We talked and laughed. We finished breakfast and got up.

"Mom! Dad! We are gonna go to the mall!"

"Ok honey be safe. Make sure you see Mrs Allen sometime tonight she said she had something for you for your birthday!"

"Ok I will! Love you!"

"Love you too!"

We grabbed our phones and chargers and I grabbed my wallet and keys and we got into Mandy's car. She started up the car and pulled out my driveway. We headed to the mall.

"When we get there we are gonna hit every store."

"Ok."

We pulled into the mall parking lot and got out. We started on one side of the mall and hit every store. We finished and had lots of bags. We put them in Mandy's car.

"Let's go out to eat."

She headed to this diner we go to every once in a while. We got there and got out. We are and we laughed and talked and had fun. My phone would light up with Instagram notifications from Colson and I would look at them and think back on the memories we had together. I shut my phone off. My expression stayed sad. Mandy noticed.

"Teresa what's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Stop lying. Let's go talk."

Me and Mandy got up from the table and walked to the bathroom. We got in and shut the door.

"Teresa what's going on?"

"It's Colson."

"Your brothers bestfriend?"

"Yea."
