Marion ran as quick as he could to get before getting trapped into one of my dad's trap. I could see the fear in his eyes but the anger in his father's while he attacked the hunter who was loading up the queen in the back of the truck.
"DAD!!" Marion cried out while seeing a hunter creep behind him. I couldn't say anything, I felt like I was frozen the whole time this was happening right in front of me. Marion got out and tried to get away but my mom grabbed him quick along with grabbing my hand. She started to walk out the woods with my dad helping getting another reaper in the back of the truck. I couldn't let this just happen; I took action.
"I'm sowwy mommy." I told her before slapping her hand hard enough for her to loosen her grip and Marion took off. "RUN MARION!! GO!!" I yelled at him as he ran with my parents in shock of my assistance of the reapers escape. My dad cussed and groaned in frustration of loosing his big prize. He looked at me with anger with me responding with looking down knowing that he was upset at me. I looked away with the shame I do little felt but I had no choice, I wanted to keep him safe. Marion ran off with his parents with his dad holding the body of his young sister that was deceased with the fiery anger in his eyes showing as he cried out to my dad. My dad glared at him before walking back to the truck while practically using a normal voice level towards me as we walked. I felt tears running down my cheeks with my mom feeling some guilt but not that much to stop him.
"He's just like the rest of them! He's no different." He told me in a bold tone that caused a shiver down my spine.
I sat in my room with my door locked while my parents were with friends and drank the night away. I looked out my window to see the stars shine hoping Marion was looking as well back in the forest.
"Soon...We'll meet again..Soon.." I said before everything went black.
