The weekend soon rolled by and thank the gods that there was no saturday study hall since I would've probably passed out just opening my textbook. Also the rooftop became me and Youngjoo's talking/hang out place since he's still unsure about the others.
Heading downstairs I grabbed a water bottle and headed to the shoe rack to grab my shoes so I can leave to meet up with the others. "Tell the weirdo not to come near our house." BeomCheol said as he stood by the window looking out to see Youngjoo standing outside by the gate. "This isn't your house so shut up." I said then grabbed my bag and headed out the door.
After closing the gate I smiled at Youngjoo as he fixed his hoodie. "Why did you call me to meet you? And I didn't know BeomCheol lived with you.." he said as we began walking. "Are you saying that you don't want to hang out?" I turned to look at him then he quickly looked away. "I-I do but it's just..I never been invited or asked to..in a while." He said.
"Well consider this the first of many hang out sessions! Now that we're slowly becoming friends let's do things one step at a time." I said then we stopped at a convenience store. This time it was my turn to get the snacks since I haven't bought snacks for everyone in a while. "Why are we getting so many?!" Youngjoo said as I filled up the basket with a whole lotta snacks. "You'll see." I said then went over to go pay well it's good thing I took BeomCheol's credit card before leaving.
"Seriously where are you taking me JiAhn?" Youngjoo said as we kept walking. "I want the others to know you better. And if they don't by the end of the day then..." I stopped my sentence since I didn't know what I was going to say. "They've been your friends since forever, don't ditch them because of me." Youngjoo said then stopped walking. "If..if they're truly my friends then they would understand and allow them to get to know you better." I said then grabbed his hand and continued to walk where the others were.
Once reached the place the both of us walked up the stairs and saw the others in their regular spots eating. "So I brought snacks for nothing?" I said gaining their attention but I guess their attention was on something else. "Listen. Give him a chance to prove that he isn't what you think he is. Please." I said then they all looked at each other before making room for the both of us to sit.
I looked at Youngjoo and gave him a little nudge before walking over to the others and sitting down. He looked hesitant at first but he slowly made his way over and sat next to me. As usual we all discussed new ways on how we can get other students to join our club without fearing that their grades will get jeopardized and that we will be stronger than any authority. "It sounds like you guys use elitism as your reasoning." Youngjoo added and the others looked at him.
"You're right. It is kinda like elitism I never really thought of it like that. Maybe you're not as bad as I thought." Minseok said then handed Youngjoo a banana milk. I smiled at the small interaction between them and soon the others began asking Youngjoo questions which made them laugh with some of his responses. "Look who finally showed up!" Solbin exclaimed which made us jump a bit.
"Yah Jang DoYoon, what took so long?" Seunghyun said while waking over to him and placing him in a headlock. "Let go! I had something to finish for school!" Jihoon went over and pulled the two apart and we all were complete with DoYoon here. I saw Youngjoo staring at him without a blink and I gently nudged his shoulder. "If you keep looking at him like that he'll probably melt." I whispered which caused him to advert his attention to me.
"You must be Seo Youngjoo? I've seen you around Seoul Performing Arts. I'm Jang DoYoon." The two shook hands and we all contained our conversations until it was almost night. "Christmas break is like weeks away! We should all do something together." Solhee said then Solbin excitedly nodded her head. "JiAhn do you still have access to that guest house?" Hyunsoo asked and I shook my head. "Nope. My dad took the key away after what BeomCheol did to it last summer. I've lost all access due to him" I added.
