The following morning I woke up and saw that grandma wasn't there. I carefully sat up and saw that she had my clothes organized and ready to wear. Taking the plastic wrap out of my bag I placed it over my cast and headed into the shower to get ready. My morning routine took longer than usual due to my cast but luckily there was time for me to head downstairs to eat and drink my medicines.

When I got down my medicines were placed on the table along with a glass of water. "Hurry up and drink." I took a look and saw BeomCheol coming down from the stairs fixing his uniform. I was about to say something but then I remembered grandmas words from last night.

Once I was finished I placed the glass in the sink and went over to put on my shoes. "Sit." BeomCheol went over and grabbed my shoes and sat on the floor infront of the couch. I sat down and he began placing on my shoes for me then once he was done he grabbed my bag and walked out the door. I followed along and once I locked the door there was a car waiting outside. "I got us a driver until you heal." He said and I nodded and got into the back of the car.

The arrival at school was the same but this time more and more people began to watch my every move and whispered more. "Don't pretend to act nice to me here...the act stops here." I said and grabbed my bag and exited the car. Walking to class was a struggle since my bag kept slipping off my shoulder. "Yah, why didn't you call me to pick you up? I could've had my driver stop by your place." Solbin said once she spotted me when she was exiting the bathroom. "It's okay. I'm able to manage." I responded. "Do you think Youngjoo will be okay? I mean he's being expelled, do you think he'll be okay?" I stopped at the word expelled.

"Expelled? He told me he was suspended for two weeks." I said and she shook her head. "My mom is in the committee and I overheard her and the others coming to the conclusion of expelling him." She said I could feel my blood boil. "When did they come to this conclusion?!" I said then I saw Solbin getting a bit scared at me raising my voice. "T-this morning." My bag dropped to the floor and I felt the anger fuming inside of me.

"I tried my best to talk her out of it but she refused to listen." All I did was nod and picked up my bag and headed to the classroom. I ignored the gaze of the others and pulled out my phone and dialed Youngjoo's number, but he didn't pick up so I decided to text him instead.

To Seo Youngjoo
We need to talk. I'll meet you at your work after school.

"Are you okay?" I looked up and saw Jihoon looking at me and I nodded and leaned back in my chair. "Yah, be careful. Don't worry I'll send you the notes so just try to learn." I nodded then our home room teacher came in. The day went by so slow that I wanted to bang my head against the desk so many times. During the break I searched for BeomCheol and found him sitting in his classroom along with his two other friends. "Yah. We need to talk." I said standing by the doorway.

"Can't you see that we're-"

"You two get out. Let us talk." BeomCheol said then the two looked at him before getting up and leaving the room. I walked over to his seat and stood infront of him. "C-can you please talk to your mother...please" I asked then he looked confused. "Why? What did mother do?" He asked and I tried to control my anger from telling me to yell at him and slap him.

"She's on school board committee right? Can you please convince her not to have Youngjoo expelled...this is all I'm asking from you." I said then felt my first shake from the anger being built up in my body. "C-calm down. I'll talk to her. Don't do anything stupid. Go back to class I'll go see if she's there right now." He stood you from his seat and walked out of the classroom. "Please BeomCheol...." He turned around and nodded before continuing to walk down the hallway.

On the way back to the classroom I was stopped by a girl who was from another class. "This is all your fault. If it weren't for you Youngjoo would've never gotten hurt by BeomCheol." She said while pointing her finger at me I've never seen this chick ever at this school so I took a look at her name tag.

"Jung Juri. Listen here, I don't know who you are and who you are to Youngjoo but this is a problem that you don't need to be a part of." I said and went back to the classroom. I got lots of stares from the other students "Yah, take a picture it lasts longer." I said while walking down to the room. When I got back to my desk I saw Jihoon writing in my notebook. "I might as well write your notes for you." He said without looking up.

"What would I do without you." I said in a sarcastic tone which caused him to giggle. The whole day I was at the edge of my seat waiting to hear if BeomCheol was able to change his mothers mind. When the bell rang for everyone to go home I took a look at my phone and saw that Youngjoo just left me on read. I began to type a new message when I accidentally bumped into someone. "Ah! My arm." I looked up and it was Youngjoo.

"Lets go eat. I just cashed in my first paycheck." He said them grabbed my backpack and started walking out the gate. We both walked in silence and all that was heard was our footsteps and the on going cars.

"Next time let me accept my faith okay? If I was meant to take a punishment then let me have it." He said out of the blue which made me confused. "You asked BeomCheol to change my punishment. I have 3 weeks of detention, taking my exam in the teachers office, and cleaning the gym in the mornings." He added.

"I did that because I don't want you to get expelled." I said then all he did was shake his head and opened the door for me to the place we were eating at. "What if I wanted to get expelled." He blankly said as we waited for a table to be ready for us. I grabbed his hand and he looked at me, staring straight into his eyes I said "We are going to graduate together. We are going to get into the best schools together. And WE are gonna conquer this ugly world we live in TOGETHER." He simply nodded and looked away, but kept the grip on my hand. He held it tight for a second then let go as the waiter walked us to our table.

While we ate Youngjoo's phone kept buzzing in his pocket but he ignored it even on the way back home. "Don't forget to drink your medicines , change out the bandage and add ointment." I nodded as he handed me a bag full of medical things for my arm. From the distance I could see BeomCheol looking towards us through the living rooms window.

"I'll see you tomorrow at lunch. I have to head back to work." He carefully pulled me into a hug and I could feel myself heat up a bit. "Remember, no matter what happens to the both of us, we're going to be together in the end." The tone in his voice changed when he said that sentence and it felt like it had more meaning. Once he let go he turned and started walking away.

The house remained quiet since BeomCheol decided to go out and be with his friends. I actually appreciate the fact that he's not in the house since there's only peace and quiet for me. While I was reading the notes Jihoon took for me; my phone began to buzz with a message.

From Jang Doyoon
I heard what you did today. You really convinced BeomCheol to tell his mom to keep Youngjoo at the school.

That's weird. I usually don't text Doyoon nor does he text me. But lately he's been kinda acting a bit different and he isn't the type to text first unless it has to deal with the club.

To Jang Doyoon
I mean Youngjoo did nothing wrong in the first place. Also his punishment was far worst than BeomCheol's which was unfair.

From Jang Doyoon
How would you know if he did nothing wrong?

To Jang Doyoon
What are you talking about? Are you seriously having second thoughts about Youngjoo's character? I thought you were open to meeting and getting to know him.

From Jang Doyoon
I'm not. But he's the reason why your arm is in a cast. Are you sure that you want to be around a person like that?

To Jang Doyoon
Are you drunk or something? Also Youngjoo isn't the reason why my arm is in cast, I broke it in the first place and it just got worse during the fight.

From Jang Doyoon
Exactly. It got worse after the fight that Youngjoo was involved in and the one you risked your safety for his own. What kind of act was that?

To Jang Doyoon
I seriously think you're drunk or something. I'm ending this conversation. Youngjoo is one of the people who I can relate to and understand with since nobody else can in this world. Also stop bad mouthing people you barely know, you'd be such a hypocrite if this isn't drunk you texting.
